This is so typical- it’s not Trump that shut down the government, it’s the democrats who are sulking because they want Obamacare and all their other over the top spending given back.

I would just love to see how you would react if YOU lost your healthcare or it cost 2-3 times what you are paying today. Who would you blame then Jimmy Carter?

The democrats own this government shutdown, not Trump! 14 times republicans in the Senate have voted to open the government and 14 times democrats have voted to close the government. ITS A FACT MACK!

That is right! The GOP have already agreed to a one year extension of Obama care subsidies while they negotiate about health care if the Dems would open the government. This "Clean Resolution" vote would give the Dems a victory for folks who use Obama Care. But Dems want over 1.5 trillion for programs removed by the "Big Beautiful Bill" put back in the budget. Won't happen. So the shut down continues.

Election Day coming up real soon.  With Trump’s approval rating down to 39%, the lowest this year, who do you think will be hurting at the elections?

President Donald Trump's net approval rating has slipped to its lowest amid his second term in office, a new poll from The Economist and YouGov shows on Tuesday.
According to the poll, Trump's approval rating is 39 percent, and his disapproval rating is 58 percent, resulting in a net approval of -19 points

And this:  As the ongoing shutdown of the federal government nears its 30th day, a new Yahoo/YouGov poll shows that nearly twice as many Americans want it to end with Democrats getting their way rather than Republicans.
Only 26% of Americans, meanwhile, approve of how President Trump has been handling the shutdown. A full 65% disapprove.
The survey of 1,770 U.S. adults was conducted from Oct. 23 to 27, as Senate Democrats refused for the 12th and then 13th time to support a Republican-backed funding bill to reopen the government.

What will happen to the welfare dwellers @ the Goshen S.R.O's?

They rely on the Government for everything, so close to Christmas too.

Such a shame for those who rely on those services.
It's a great game, if you have the means to play

People who blame Trump for the shutdown are misinformed, believe the talking points of congressional Democrats, or have a serious case of TDS.
This issue is being created by the U.S. senate only.

Remember you will all be in this economy very soon! Also, please don't bring race into this because it's obvious that is the only thing he has accomplished in making us HATE !!!!!!!

the GOP controls the House, Senate and White House...but it's the Democrats fault?
Keep watching Fox News pal. 1 day they'll tell you to jump off a cliff.
Dumb Americans who don't know how government works should have to take an aptitude test to vote if they want to have bullshit opinions
The government is letting millions of Americans down.

Ask in spring of next year after I take advantage of an extra 6000-dollar deduction on my taxes. I am over 65 and ss is part of my income.
The thing that has strained my budget the most here in NJ is the 20 pct raise in electric bills starting this summer that was caused by wacko Democrat governor Phil Murphy's love for windmills and hate for fossil fuels.

Yes, but the GOP only controls the senate by a few votes, they need 10 democrats to vote for a continuing resolution for it to pass and reopen the government, so yes, it's the senate Democrats fault, the house voted yes a month ago.
