Race 6: The leaders shit the bed in the last quarter there around 29 and crawling

huge longshot

Boyd horse just totally spit the bit and got swallowed up out of the money  and if the horse had a real driver he would have won that race. $35K tri. Love the 86-1 shot winning. Prince Hal still hung tough for 3rd

Twin B Joe 52.4 back half...that burst of speed nearing 3/4s was enough seperationg...25. 4 last quarter was able to open up 3 lengths on Sylvia and then hold her off. Slyvia was coming hard with a 25.3 second last quarter of her own but Joe is just so much more powerful

We will see what happens in the BC...probably only about 8 or so going in that one and Sylvia is going to need the better post draw if she wants to win.

Kentucky futurity  morning line totals 77 points in an 11 horse field. They must be trying to kill racing by making it the most unattractive gambling option available

Louprint in 146.3......25.4 2nd quarter and 118.4 last 3 quarters and he did it effortlessly. 10 for 10 abd 17 for 20 lifetime and just the BC to go. Is he among the best ever? I think he is better than Confederate.

Captain Albano used hard folded in stretch..just not as good on the mile. Ken Hanover reasserts himself for divisional honors.  I find it funny that a two year old filly went faster than the aged pacers.

It all comes down to the BC for divisional honors between Ken Hanover, Maximus Miki, Ervin Hanover and Captain Albano

Where is Sabonis? is he done for

definitely and hasnt been babied either like Confederate was later in the year...Louprint had to come back from that surgery and went 2 heats at the Jug and then didnt miss a beat today.

Burke was asked if this was the last time Louprint would race at the redmile and he said probably but   said he likes to race them but who knows. I know a huge stud career is waiting but it would be great for the sport if he came back and raced as a 4YO. I would say that racing wise this is the best horse Burke has ever had. Sweet Lou certainly won his share but he was up and down at 3 and 4 and didnt get dominant til 5.

Confederate is not a great horse. He hid in Lexington then had a fake mark set up by a stablemate.

I hope Burke is able to get agreement to race this monster. He can race another two years and still have plenty of year
As a stallion.

When not both race and breed? Tye industry needs great horses on the track.

It really is amazing how effortless Louprint makes everything look. If as expected he wins the Breeders Crown I would say he should be considered as an all time great.

Prince Hal is a cut below but he will challenge him in the BC. I dont see Burke wanting to risk value by having one of his other horses challenge. For a second there thought Swingtown might make him sweat a little but Louprint quickly repelled that notion.

huge mile by Emotion Legacy threw torrid fractions...lock him up BC or not...he is the 3yo trotter of the year...just threw in one bad race in the Hambo.

Maryland another bridesmaid effort. Super Chapter really no excuse 2 weeks in a row...last half was just 55.4

That was a class performance and way better than the Melander pair that ran 2nd and 3rd.

Just amazing how these horses are front ending these miles.  Trotter parked to the half in 53 and not wilting just has me pretty cynical
