Annual Erv horse dump
« on: September 05, 2025, 08:17:48 AM »
Looks like it’s that time of year where Erv dumps a bunch of horses. I’m surprised the Erv haters and Erv apologists have yet to appear.

I always look forward to the guy who got burned years ago hating on them and Lucpark defending Erv every step of the way.

It's that time of year for all the big stables to purge and clean house. There's some quality and of course there's junk too, LOL. One man's trash may be another man's treasure. LOL. I always wonder how much the Ongait, PEM, etc., websites take from the Black Book 2, but I think the majority of the horses still go to Harrisburg.

Oh my goodness don’t ever buy a horse off Erv or on gait.  They should both be banned from harness racing.  What ever horse Erv puts for sale will not be the actual horse you see in the pictures.  On gait and Eric cherry kiss ass are in on it with Erv.  Eric says oh we have nothing to do with it.  Ha ha

Guy who got burned made his point.  Blasted Erv for the year and three months that it took to get the horse back to the races.  Quit the campaign at that point.  Enough is  Enough.  Anyone that doesn't know the story and the risk is brain dead!

Stop with this crap already. If anyone buys a horse only off a picture deserves to get fucked. It’s called due diligence.

I think Ongait can be valuable. Definitely some solid racehorses from respectable connections sold on there.

It is exploited by a minority, including Erv. The horses he sells on there are absolute rats after the spring steroids wear off.

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
