Highest PER DAY training charge you have heard of!

The highest PER day fee I have heard of is $80.00 PER DAY.  Is anyone higher, or is this an outlier?

Expenses to race a horse
shipping n tolls $500
vet pre race $300
groom for paddock $100
You race 4 times in a month 4 x $900 = $ 3600.

The numbers you folks are talking is mind-blowing. When I owned 4 cheap claimers at Pompano Park in the late 80's my daily for all 4 were $150. I had two other partners who. like me never made any money. LOL! Our groom Mickey Metcalf (whose Dad was a trainer/driver) charged us $25 for each paddock. Our farrier Mike Cable was really fair. The vets bills were pretty costly.

60 to 75 on todays market is fair imho

After that you’re getting ripped off

Unless u   Got  baffert or pletcher 

There is  not a harness trainer on gods green earth worth 175 a day

I heard she was $65 per day just a few years back. Her price doubled? It costs $8.00 per day for hay so what is she doing for the basic training rate BEFORE the extras?
