my father told me about that-- I was very young

they had an "Eagles Downs" meet and a "Continental" meet

I suppose separate entities were running the races
Eagle and Continental were the original co-owners of Keystone. They raced at LB until their track was built.

I remember being at RR in 83 or 84 and the average time for a mile that night was 2;00 - 2;01. Draigons Lair ripped off an eye popping 1;55 that same night

We have all heard
"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink", but can you teach a horse to crap every time in a designated spot in their stall?
If so How?
Top Groom class 101
First clean the stall real good.
Add fresh bedding.
Take a pile of fresh crap from a different horse (preferable from the opposite sex) and put it where ever you want your horse to crap. Your horse will walk in smell the fresh crap turn around and crap on top of it.
Do this for a few days and most horses will crap in that same spot for years to come.
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.
