I won't spoil it for you but it just amazes me -- and this is just one random sample --  that the White Trash Mike topic has been viewed over 160,000 times.

We'll be blazing tomorrow. And, of course, our team will be working hard  to keep all the hamsters on their wheels so everyone can enjoy the site on our sport's biggest day.

Serious question....Do you mean it. I am all for free speech, including all the trash talking anyone wants to do regarding other posters relating to racing. Let's leave the board to that. Just like you said in this post.

I had to cut out 15 of the 30 races yesterday so on my own I overloaded.

The site lagging, down was independently frustrating for all of us diehards.

Horseplop is no more or less popular than at any time the past decade. The troll bots / AI programs are foreign and can't be "tamed". The most accurate sweep figure on crucial topics was about 900 in readers at 1 time. Disregard any of these bot/AI enhanced #.
As for the non connect status, our servers have a 99%+ uptime, so for sites with this volume of traffic that's excellent (while irksome when connecting is delayed).
Sometimes a minor tweak can improve flow, but mostly the situation self corrects in short order.
Please enjoy the forum and use it to have your racing voice heard among other people in the community.
