I know David. We are not friends, but having been in the business for a long time, we've seen each other around for years. This business is a small world. You see each other at the sales, at the track, at night, etc. Anyway, both David and Tim "announced" they were splitting up, sometime around Harrisburg. As for the rest, why, where David sent the horses, etc.---I won't speak to any of that.

There's nothing to tell. I don't do the gossip thing or whatever you want to call it. I am just not wired that way.

Whatever the case was, is, who knows. If someone truly does, it's up to them whether they want to talk or not. And I don't care if they truly do or don't know. LOL. If they don't, again, it's nothing more than rumor and innuendo. Gray line between the two, LOL. Remember, it's a BB. LOL.

Tim is a lifer. He comes from the John Burns school. Early on when Burnsy was training for Harold Shipp, Tim was the stable driver. Tim has had a good career. He's a good horsemen.

Hardie Hanover - Breeders Crown. Great guy wouldn't hurt a fly. Great set of hands, especially young trotters. When Burnsie and TT split, Harold gave the horses to TT. He's a lifer.

Just a side story---Tim and David met because of a horse David bought from Bill Bercury. The horse wasn't doing well so David sent the horse to Tim, and that's where it all started.

Speaking of Bill.....is he still training? I met the guy once or twice, and I don't follow him at all, but I will say.....that guy always did very well, training just a few horses for himself.

Yes, he does well with his horses.  And condones the behavior of criminals that threaten police officers.   tmbz1

You talk to him here Grandstand.  My understanding is Samstar is Bill Bercury.  Still a massive high percentage trainer.  Don't know why he gets such a hard time here.

Really?!?!? Thanks. I had no idea. I didn't know and truthfully, I just don't put that much thought into who someone is, isn't, etc. Like I've always said, it's a BB. LOL.

Anyway, Samstar or not, yes, he has been a very high percentage trainer. Very small stable, only trains for himself. I think for those reasons he might not be a household name so to speak. I don't know his track record, but he does seem to do very well.

This thread showed up on my page today and I don't know why.  I do know that the exceptional athlete, Fourever Boy has not had a banner year.  Micki Rae stables came into the business with very little knowledge of anything but betting.  They felt that Tim had to participate in the ownership of anything they bought and bid thousands over agreed target prices. There was no off ramp for Tim. Time to sell  and they would decide to breed instead leaving Tim with no cash flow and big bills.  Fourever Boy is a superb athlete but needs special care and attention.  They should send him back to Tim!
