Way to go...you ask a sensible question and SCM turns it into a way to once again talk about himself.  A legend in his own mind!  But I was wondering the same thing.  Any track I've ever been to asks on your way in.

I find it odd also that they don't ask on your way in, then ask you to produce it after the fact.  Do they really need the $100 that bad?  Feels like entrapment!

Only time I’ve been ask for a license on the East Coast I was bringing a horse in. If I’m just shipping and let the groom bring in horse I walk right in. Never had an issue

Last time I was there I just walked right in..No one stopped me to ask for anything. Only one they ask is whoever has the horse.
