Thats from 2 or 3 crops. Only one that has raced. Definately not good. But not as bad as it looks.

sportswriter a decent ontario sire in his day
american ideal a standout stud and broodmare sire even though handicapped being in new york
both were early gassie coleman days so might have avoided some of the "additives"

Casie didn't pick American Ideal as a baby and I could be wrong but I don't think she broke and trained at two?

Horse was never good enough to be a sire. Nice little race horse though. Might as well race him. tmbz1

Not on the big stage, no. He won only 1 start as a 3 year old.

One win as a 3 year old !!!  Standing stud ????  There are some $20,000 claimers I would sooner breed too. Was there a shortage of yogurt??

He was so so lame in his three year old season that a caring trainer would not have started him. But race he did and went fast. I'd be reluctant to write him off. He had a lot of foot, a fashionable pedigree and a ton of resolve.
He's not junk and he deserves a little compassion even if you chose to take your mares elsewhere.

Who else would you recommend for breeding advice?  I want to know so I can eliminate them off my list.  ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3
