You now see races with 2 also eligibles. Plus many tracks have not re-opened yet and lots of trainers/owners dream of racing at the Big M. With these conditions for cheaper horses, they can say"We raced at the Meadowlands". Last week a horse that showed all $4,000 claiming lines and not winning, jogged when he shipped in. One thing that should be interesting to follow. These cheaper races give out much cheaper purses. Even with the big-name drivers taking time off, the handle is still over $3 million.
