On the charges in Georgia the republican govenor can not pardon anyone, pardons in georgia must be issued by a state board and not until 5 years after conviction. Nothing in the U.S. constitution bars a convict or imprisoned man from running for or holding the office of president .Think of how embarrassing it would be for our country if world leaders had to go to a jail to have a meeting with our president.There are reasons why this current situation is not the norm
