Why the rush to stud?

King of the North, Rebuff, Temporal Hanover and Cuatro De Julio

expect to see a whole slew of 3 YO pacers as well who arent very good shuttled away to stud

Not a lot of big $$$ races to offset the stud fees.  However, the super sires (Muscle Hill and Chapter 7) will skim off the top 280 trotting mares.

Walner is doing very well but not yet a “super sire”.

the yearling sales would suggest walner is a super sire in buyers minds which is what matters to the syndicate owners

keep in mind there are about 8 sons of muscle hill at stud and at best a few have been ok, but just ok nothing more

All the yearling sales say is there are a lot of people with more money than they know what to do with.
