Done, what track will be next ? Lets hear your guess
On the East coast, in order:
Monticello
Freehold
Harrah's Philadelphia
Pocono Downs
Yonkers
The order of the bottom three is tentative, pending which states pass decoupling legislation first.

9 days left in the meet.

Is it the end?

They're having $800k+ handles most nights.

Has anything been announced?
at 800k with almost all the revenue coming off track -- a generous 5% nets the track $40k  for purses and expenses. They lose money every night they race.

so true.  sadly years ago a much too low rate was set on sending a signal out.  in todays world adws have very little expenes yet keep 15-20 percent of handle and tracks like pomp get next to nothing. how many more tracks would still be open if the split were reversed? instead of 40k the revenue would be more like 120k. at least enough to survive.

Those harness tracks are taking 15-20% of the real big money bet on tbreds via their on site/awd. In most cases, reverse this splits and they would be worse off.
