Agreed and I didn’t read it as complaining I read it as an explanation of what’s going on in todays racing. Hale mile tracks were always speed biased and some 5/8 but never were the mile tracks favored for speed. Today especially the “Little M” favors speed. Rarely do you see a horse winning from way back there but maybe my theory of it being short is the reason.
