Has demise of greyhound racing helped harness?
« on: February 10, 2021, 09:26:01 AM »
Is the Pompano handle increase because greyhound racing ended?  Having less options at OTB and ADW must help some.  The question is whether harness follows the greyhounds right off the screen or the absence of greyhounds help save harness.

Cigar I got out in the 80's and back then you had packed grandstands and racing was good. It never had to get the way it has but you could see in the latter 80's it was heading for what we have now. If it was cleaned up I would be back in a heartbeat and there are many more who left that would too. It's over and you can bank that.

Did you keep your grooms licence up or would you have to reapply.

So you got out in 1980 that’s almost 40 years and been paying for a Liscense you don’t use? You must have graduated from a Ivy League school with a major in business right? Btw these horses changed a little in 40 years 210 don’t get you a win or let alone qualified in 2021.

37 years to be exact and I'm not hurting for money. I can do what I please and with my farm and training centre is why I keep it up to date. If something interests me at the sales all my licensing is in order.
That’s like keeping condoms in your wallet, and hoping to get lucky for 37 years  tmbz1

Whatever tmbz1
What’s the matter? Your on here bashing people that are in the game but you haven’t been in it for 40 years. What makes you think you can even do it again? You obviously have some sort of issues(we all do) but you keep posting your stuff like tour some kind of racing genius. You ain’t won shit in 40 years just because you have a Liscense doesn’t make you anything just a dummy that spent thousands on something you didn’t need. Get in the game and show everyone how smart and talented you are than talk about all the trainers in the game like you do. You are nothing more than a Monday morning quarterback or maybe this will explain it better to you iceman=stroke keep the condom in your wallet they can stick you in the ground and in another 40 years maybe it will turn into a gold bar.
