Bangor meet data/statistics
« on: November 07, 2019, 07:59:37 PM »
Is there any info regarding Bangor handle, purses, driver and trainer stats, etc. How was the meet compared to previous years?

Holy shit... it was AMAZING!!!  So first, they broke the all time handle record, 7,211.00 for the Fall meet !!!  Live attendance was over the top!!!  They actually had to add on to the grandstand to accommodate the increase in attendance.. 322 people for the meet !!!  AMAZING !!  (2) Horse superfecta’s... the most ever 4-all-all tri’s since the 80’s... lowest EVER black box positives (vet got fired and never showed)... and Leigh Fitch won the frigging Drivers Title AGAIN !!

BEST YEAR EVER!!!

actually had some good, for 2019 that is, handles, off track . trackmaster conditions helped have many more trainers getting in the winners circle. ontrack crowd of horsemen with 10-20 fans a day. so it was actually a decent meet.

Thanks yogi.  I see Seamus has some pent up anger issues.  Would have been more believable if he said Freeman Parker won the drivers title.  Sadly, the circle of participants is shrinking.  Just a matter of horsemen trying to hold onto what is left.  At least there were no track issues or cancellations.  Participation by horsemen seemed better with decent fields.

for the most part a lot of 8 horse fields. off track money makes it bettable. find they run true to form at bangor. we are hanging on.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
