I watched the replay, coming into the stretch instead of giving the horse some room ti his right, Cullen decided to bear to the left, blocking Doug,s horse, in fact I saw that horse jerk his head.....Dougie took the law into his own hands and is paying the price......I bet this would never happened if it was Drury driving instead pf McNair

McNair locked Cullen in earlier in the card & Cullen in turn returned the favor...

The fine and suspension is for beating Cullen in the event.

This should have never been given this paltry a fine & suspension. Keith Oliver got six months for crowning Randy Waples (deservedly so) 17 years ago.

McNair should have got a six month suspension & 25k fine minimum for these actions. If Cullen had done the same thing, he would have been barred for life, guaranteed.

Randy should have been crowned again after that horseshit he pulled in the stretch the other night. His demons are gonna end up killing someone.

I was in the paddock the night Oliver crowned Waples, Waples mouth got him in hot water and he got what he deserved. Oliver got to golf for months & unlike lots of drivers, he was always very smart with his money.

you were calling for a stiffer penalty for McNair.....others may say that Cullen got what he deserved, but yet here you are saying Randy got what he deserved......rul ings should never depend on whether you like the guy or not.....for the record I think both McNair and Cullen are POS, and Randy is not that far behind.....Oliver was an ok guy but he is the one out of racing,,,irony?

If you only get fined $150 to $300 for excessive whipping of a horse, why is it $2500 for whipping another driver?

No fine unless he got him in the face !!!

I saw a trainer hit a driver with a whip during morning jogs once. The trainer had just found out the driver was putting the boots to his wife. There is never any shortage of drama on the backside

Randy attempted a reality show maybe 7-8 years ago, including a "fake" shove by Jody to Randy at the paddock doors. The attempt a reality show never made it far.

I think there's a big difference between what Oliver & McNair did. Plus lets face the facts, McNair is a big name at WEG & Oliver was not. Waples came off the track running his mouth, yapping at Oliver non-stop, what are you going to do little man stuff & whammo, helmet off the head shutting his yap for awhile. McNair hitting someone with a whip in a race repeatedly is a much more serious violation in my estimation. McNair is a leading driver, hence 1 month vacation, if the shoe was on the other foot, I am willing to bet Cullen would be told to never step foot there again.

I have no personal feelings about Waples or McNair, it's my opinion only & how I see it.

Whipper  ....     Where did you get this info from.    If you watch the race, McNair isn't in any position to repeatedly whip anyone.   Still sounds and looks like a non event to me.  Big to do about nothing.
