Only 2 horses finished.  Shelter, Krueger, Byron, and Hysell all went down, but Gabe says all horses and riders were up and walking.  Took the judges 40 (yes, 40) minutes to decide the exotics would be 57all and 57 allall.

When the lead horse dropped at full speed, and dropped right NOW --- it looked like a bomb went off taking out the field.

hate to see that but glad all drivers and horses appear okay
cant believe the driver of #2 is unhurt, he went airborne and must have hit hard
on a less important note should that race not have been declared no contest
clearly the drivers on the 5 and 7 were concerned about lose horses etc
clearly the driver of the 7 was not working his horse in the lane , in fact seemed to have a tight hold on him

Pompano screwed my friend I thought he was joking but as it turns out he wasn’t. How can you payout for horses that don’t finish a race and go down in the race which had a wreck. 6th place horse only 6 in it cause the wreck and returned 2.10 to show. Something very crooked just happened. You can’t declate a contest with only two finishers let alone payout shoe tickets to 4 i repeat 4 horses who went down in the wreck

They paid out only to the 2 horses that finished and the exacta.  Pretty sure declaring a no contest and refunding all bets is at the judges discretion and the horses that get paid out are part of the rule book.
