Robin told me at the barn this morning she heard Scott's father passed away back in Illinois.
Condolences to Scott,  Lisa, and their kids.

disagree 100% Scott is a Chicago native and did a good job here...especially at Maywood after Tony stepped down. I met his wife Lisa a few times and she's sweet. Prayers for you Scott and the whole family. I lost my dad too so I sense what you're going thru.   :'(

Ehrlich, Lawrence "Larry" 86, loving father of Scott (Lisa) and Brad (Kelly); cherished grandpa of Michael (Hannah), Steven, Kevin, Ella, Melina and Aria; adored great grandpa of Zachary and Ada; treasured cousin of many. Chapel service Friday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.

RIP.

IDK why all the hate for Ehrlich on here, other than it's filled with mostly lowlifes, but Scott was never anything but a gentleman back when I was around him for a year or two in his days in the 90s, calling races at Saginaw.

The man made a wise assed comment about an annoying woman at CalX, he never touched her. Get your facts before running the guy down. I’m not even a big fan, he comes off a little pushy to me, but I don’t think that calls for spewing lies about him.

 THE WORD  IS  THAT HE USED THE CUNT WORD WHEN REFERRING TO A CERTAIN FEMALE, AND THAT HE HAS BEEN BLACK LISTED FROM THE RACING INDUSTRY FOR HIS ACTIONS. WITH THAT WORD BEING FRONT AND CENTER IN THE REAL NEWS MEDIA OVER SOME COMMENTS REGARDING THE PRESIDENTS DAUGHTER, THE HARNESS INDUSTRY DOESNT WANT SOMEONE WITH SO MUCH BAGGAGE INVOLVED IN THEIR INDUSTRY
