Not sure I want to see that video.

I had to wait 90 minutes sweating moving up a placing, a refunded race...was a long video, though Lance's will have more action than some blinking #s and commentary  ngc3

I was there that night too, and I remember that race well.  It was the NYSS final for 3 yo colts.
The horse on the lead turning for home was named Fulla Potholes, driven by Mike Kimelman.  The horse stuck his toes in at the top of the stretch, and most of the field piled over him.

Two horses escaped the pile up and were able to finish the race.  Black Gold Road, driven by DR Ackerman, crossed the line first, but was on a break.  The #8 horse, Gloucester Court (Jim Morrill Jr.), who had been was parked the mile and faded badly, was so far back that he was able to circle around the pile and crossed the line a half-length back of Ackerman.  He was placed first because Ackerman's horse was on a break.

I have not been able to find any press on this race, much less a video.

OMG, you're amazing, appreciation and gratitude, thank you very much!

Mike Kimelman!

I guess I put it on the dude Kauffman because that's my shoddy memory, only person's last name, driving at Yonkers starting with "K" that I could remember from 30 years.

I apologize too, because I brought it up as it was a surreal night, but until we fill in the blanks it kind of haunts the mind.

Long shots going first over dying don't usually win, let's just say if there was live wagering just before the accident, he'd be a trillion - 1  ngc3

Thanks to you we're down to the date, race and a real hail Mary would be the vid!
ohracing mentioned Ackerman, kudos!

I'm very grateful and happy though (still crazy but not a liar  ngc3)!  ;D

This is some Final Destination shit here...

7 months after this horse Gloucester Court was made the winner, he died in a fire...

"The fire also killed Scooter’s Boy, a highly regarded 3-year-old colt, who was fifth in the Breeders Crown pace for 2-year-old colts and geldings last year, and Gloucester Court, an earner of more than $400,000 in 1991."

Daily News has a Paywall too but deriving from it...

Finished 8-2 in Race 8

Race times 27 4/5, 56 2/5, 125 4/5, 203.?

9th race was the open handicap...Ultra Jet won.  Prince Ebony 5th  ngc3

The 6th race winner the #1 Dedicated Yankee

The pick 4 was 1-3-8-6 (exact payout ?)

So I was wrong about Prince Ebony, and that the accident race the 8th was not the 2nd leg, it was the 3rd.
