Judges should be required to explain their decision. the 7 horse just held on for 4th ( while leaving the track). He was also lapped on. Everyone needs an explanation for their decision to leave the 7 Up. It makes no sense.

THE 4 CAUSED THE 7 TO RUN. THE 7 DRIVER DID EVERYTHING REQUIRED WHEN ON A BREAK .  THE 4 WOULD HAVE BEEN PLACED BEHIND THE 7 BUT THE 7 FINNISHED AHEAD OF HIM SO THERE WAS NO NEED FOR  A CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINNISH. LOOKED PRETTY SIMPLE TO ME

Lachance was half in/half out with the 4 from just past the 3/4’s pole.

Hershberger drove up the seam with the 7 but his horse caught Lachance’s wheel with his front right.

Judges deemed Lachance caused Hershberger horse to go off stride and leave the course.

Just look at the chart. They gave the 7 an interference break at 3/4’s before the stretch.

In other words, the judges are ignoring everything that happened after that including cutting the corner and leaving the course.

regardless of what caused it or the circumstances the 7 should be immediately disq from the race, end of story

a new bettor asks , why is the 7 allowed to go off stride and then go a significantly shorter distance than the other horses and still be allowed to come fourth
