Will the Belmont Stakes Go Forward with the current Air Quality?

Seems that track officials are currently monitoring the air quality to determine the race schedule for the weekend.  Today has moved to a 3PM start delay, and no exercising. Lets hope the air quality improves soon.

Today was always scheduled for a 3PM first post but they did the right thing and canceled the card.  I think Saturday will go ahead as planned.

Lets hope.  The air quality numbers have dropped but not by huge numbers.

  • Trigger: Santa Anita 6 horse field 2 scratches, down to 4 entries and they have a tri & super, go figure  ngc3...I hit a tri in a 4 horse field there yesterday paid $46 for a buck...last week I think a $50+ horse won in a 4 horse field too.  California, warm and sunny, but anything's possible if Baffert fails!  ;D
