Roger was the substitute at Northfield one night last week. He sounded ok with a fumble every now and then for the first 4 or 5 races. Then it was just a race by race decline after that. I had to mute him by race 8, I couldn’t handle it anymore. I had to turn him back on because I had a large bet in the 14th race. And after he announced the post parade when the horses came onto the track. He didn’t turn his mic off for about another 30 seconds. And I could hear the poor guy wheezing and having difficulty breathing. I could also hear him gulping oxygen from a mask. Please anyone that knows the guy. Tell him to reduce his schedule.
