number of entries for an event

how can i find out how many horses were entered for a particular event on the condition sheet?
would the race office tell me?

The draw sheet is posted at the race office.
The draw sheet will show all horses entered with their last race date.
I think all race offices would tell you that information.
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

They did it years ago.  Some draw sheets posted the fields and number of horses entered.

Do they do it today?  Probably not.

Some Canadian tracks include it, Grand River for example.

1 -- Pace, purse $9,000 (DD,EX,P5,SF,TR)
HORSES & GELDINGS - N/W $15,000 LIFETIME (W-ALL)

Horses Entered = 103
Total Purse: $84,000
  * - coggins expires within 60 days
 ** - coggins expires within 15 days
*** - coggins has expired

Condition(s) Not Used: Cond 10 - 5 horses
