A driver's objection upheld at Northfield

Never seen this. Merriman files a driver's objection against the eventual winner and the judges took Marc St. Louis down after a five-minute inquiry in Race 7. Wonder what St. Louis did to piss Merriman off. I can't remember a driver's objection being filed before.

There should be more driver’s objections but if you have 2, 3 maybe 4 drives a night you are not putting in objections against the top 3 or 4 drivers if you want to eat. 
Objections are a rare things . The judges don’t want to take the time to go through the procedures.  There is a rule where a driver can be fined or given days for not filing an objection.  When was the last time you even heard of that
