So ya know your horse is no good, vet healthy though, race for $20K and get $600 for just running around the track, so no reason to scratch.

All the insiders know the horse is a dud so gambler buyer beware.

On paper maybe looks like a favorite, gets heavily bet.

And insiders have a chance to make money gambling and omitting.

----

Fuck Pacer 2 and everyone that agrees to this bullshit.

Why harness racing is dying, that and a whole lot worse.

Yes its sad. Corrupt as hell from top to bottom and people say its thriving ngc3

Does any other track pay all positions?

I feel that the only reason this is being done is to fill the card. If they had an abundance of entries, these payments would never happen.

Years ago, there was a minimum $20,000 claimer on the condition sheet. Now you see $4000 claimers on the card and winning.  They have multiple 68 and under TM races. Most tracks wouldn't even write such a low condition. In its heyday. the Meadowlands was amazing. But like everything in life, things change. It's a shame, but it's reality.

I remember $50k, $75k and even $100k races at Meadowlands.

We all do.

Those were awesome races.
