Hoosier Boy   ....    I really have no idea what his yearlings % is, but I read somewhere he has 225 horses under his management.  I know a couple of much smaller operations and they start out with  60+ new yearlings each year, so I'd be surprised if Burke's operation isn't more than double that.
If someone is closer to him, it would be interesting to know what they would say.

I heard Burke had 75 in fla last winter, I already said in another thread, Ronnie takes his 5%, a cool million, most of the family works for the stable, maybe family vehicles are "company owned" I don't know. Burke Stable is listed on ownership of most horses in stable, we don't know what % they own, They get the checks and send owners check after expenses. Weaver makes out, seems they have slowed down on yearlings, and keeps looking and buying race horses. If you watch the Meadows there are a lot of Burke Stable / Weaver Bruchemi only race horses. It's hard to imagine all of the the partners actually making a good ROI, most wealthy and just want win photos.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
