“MY GUARDIAN AND PROTECTOR”! Jimmy Kimmel ROASTS Trump with hilarious “Natalie Harp” parody – and gets his own WIFE to play Trump’s devoted aide!
Jimmy Kimmel has found a new way to get under Donald Trump’s skin – and this time he brought his wife along for the ride.
During Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a Natalie Harp doppelgänger suddenly marched onstage carrying golf clubs, a briefcase and a laptop.
The woman playing Trump’s famously devoted 35-year-old aide was Molly McNearney – Kimmel’s real-life wife and the show’s executive producer and co-head writer.
“My guardian and protector!” she gushed at Kimmel, borrowing the language the real Harp reportedly used in letters to Trump.
Then she went to work.
Fake Natalie began de-linting Kimmel’s suit, offered to post “Truths” for him and insisted she was there to “serve” him. When Kimmel finally asked Guillermo to escort her backstage, things got wonderfully weird.
“I can’t see you backstage!” McNearney cried. “I can’t hear you backstage. I cannot smell you backstage. I can’t wipe you backstage. I’m here to serve you.”
And then came the pièce de résistance.
“Your wife doesn’t deserve you!”
Yes, Jimmy Kimmel’s actual wife dressed up as Trump’s famously attentive assistant to tell Jimmy Kimmel that Jimmy Kimmel’s wife doesn’t deserve him.
The sketch was funny because so much of the absurdity came straight from real life. Harp has become known as Trump’s “human printer” for supplying him with flattering articles, has handled his social-media posts and has rarely been far from his side. A published letters attributed to Harp included the now-famous declaration: “You are all that matters to me.”
Kimmel barely had to exaggerate.
