They were still called the Titans when they won their Super Bowl.

I stand corrected, they changed their name to the Jets in 1963 and won their Super Bowl in 1969. Wasn't Emerson Boozer the fullback on that team, obviously Namath was QB.

Correct. When Sonny Werblin bought the team, he changed the name to the Jets. Sonny later built The Meadowlands
