The only Kentucky 2yr old filly worth over 400K is the trotter Wall Of Fame, and right now she's worth a lot more. If it's a pacer consider yourself lucky, there's no Ky 2yr old pacing filly worth 400K. There is no standout in the group and competition is too tight. If you're still interested, call after Sunday's race, you might get a different response.

The horse business is one of self expression. LOL. While a horse may be worth what someone is willing to pay-----that horse was worth that amount to that buyer. The rest of the world may not think the horse was worth it. I can't believe some of the legitimate, real offers I've seen for horses. It makes me grateful that bad decision making is not contagious, LOL. I've made my fair share of offers on horses that are already racing. I've seen a few of them sell for a lot more. No remorse on my part, LOL. The market is certainly not an "efficient" one, LOL.

Exactly. The market is always dictated by the price someone is willing to pay. And in the horse business not taking that figure usually results in more regrets than success.
