DIAPER DON? New footage of Trump starts a social media wildfire as people wonder just what is going on with Trump’s increasingly bulbous rear end!
Donald Trump's backside has once again become a matter of intense national scrutiny, and this time the evidence was helpfully supplied by his own White House.
Footage originally shared by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shows the 80-year-old president walking through a crowd with a remarkably large and oddly shaped bulge protruding from the back of his trousers.
“Seriously, what is going on with Trump’s rear end here?” journalist Aaron Rupar wrote while sharing the clip. “It looks like he has some sort of contraption back there.”
The post racked up huge views and got the internet churning – and like usual, it didn’t disappoint.
“That’s a big diaper, I think :)” tennis legend Martina Navratilova wrote.
Another viral response compared Trump to someone “walking around with a mystery bulge in the back of his pants like he shoplifted a Thanksgiving turkey and forgot where he put it.”
One commenter went considerably further: “That bulge indicates Trump's diaper is probably full,” before joking that the Secret Service now has to keep people away from a “bio-toxic perimeter” surrounding the president.
Naturally, the old “Diaper Don” nickname came roaring back.
For the record, nobody looking at a video can possibly know what's underneath Trump's trousers. There could be any number of perfectly mundane explanations for the peculiar shape.
But Trump loves to publicly ridicule other people's bodies and appearances, from their weight and faces to their hair and physical disabilities. There's more than a little poetic justice in watching the internet turn that same merciless gaze on the president's own posterior.
So what exactly is going on back there?
George Conway had the perfect answer.
“It depends.”
