Title: another intriguing find!
Post by: rainman2 on July 21, 2026, 06:32:42 PM
Really American

An artist spent $100,000 on a life-sized Charlie Kirk statue. He has zero buyers — but plenty of people telling him they'd like to urinate on it
An artist in New York spent $100,000 of his own money — on steel, resin, and labor — building a life-sized statue of Charlie Kirk, the Turning Point USA founder. He figured it was a safe bet. This is a movement that has turned Kirk into a martyr, that invokes his name at every rally, that plasters his face on merchandise. Surely some wealthy conservative would want the tribute. Surely the movement that claims to revere him would step up.
Nobody has.
Not one buyer. Not one benefactor. The artist told the Guardian his finances are now an "absolute nightmare." His verdict on the crowd he thought would support the work: "People are cheap, man... everybody's so cheap. It's disgusting how cheap they are."
Think about who we're talking about. Turning Point is a fundraising juggernaut. MAGA world is swimming in billionaire money — enough for super PACs, gold sneakers, and $100,000-a-plate dinners. The people who invoke Charlie Kirk's memory in every speech could buy this statue with what they spend on a weekend at Mar-a-Lago. And when an actual tribute needed actual dollars, the movement's wallets snapped shut in unison.
Because that's the pattern, every single time. The martyrdom is a product. The grief is content. The loyalty flows in exactly one direction — toward whoever's collecting. Ask the January 6th defendants who got left holding the bag. Ask the vendors Trump stiffed for decades. Ask this artist, out a hundred grand.
They'll sell you the movement. They will never, ever buy in themselves.

The best thing is that you can read and spread the word on this for free!   tmbz1

Why would you buy a Kirk statue and have some leftard burn your house down over it?

Are you serious?

get over it!

look how people treat people in 2026!

Too many whiny crybabies in the world today [like Andrew and DJT] because they don't like people say!  The extremists carry this to the action you just posted!

Talk to the guy who is financial straits because he wanted to make a quick buck!  if someone does actually buy it and what you said happens, who is to blame?  The guy who made it or the guy who bought it?
