Buffalo Raceway opening day. Racing as bad as it gets anywhere. If you sell needles and drugs your in heaven here. You have been banned your more than welcomed here. Testing there is none. Drivers you wouldn't let jog your horses. Trainers who have no money can't buy food for themselves let alone the horses they train. Toss in the crooked race secretary and you wonder why they can't get anyone to the track.

i believe 15/1 over 45/1 over 15/1
the co-favorite #1 retook at 1/4 pole and stopped at the 5/8 with the other co-favorite # 3 buried behind him.
more often the 7 and 8 are pitches because the first bend being a corner, not a turn!
didn't check the pools or the prices so i don't know if the mutuels were legitimate.

Buffalo raceway is horrendous, Track conditions are probably one of the worst,race secretary is crooked. Then you have mike torcello who’s on the board and owns many horses, his trainer ,400lb Sam smith gets multiple positives every meet , slap on the wrist and yet wins trainer of the meet almost every year. Torcello paying off his race secretary agosti ( his buddy ) ! They just let Dakota Jackson and Cory Kreiser in ,big time drug users in the horses ! Track already has Sam smith, McDonough, rice, petrelli, David Russo, Weston, alba, Courtney wright / Steve kiblin , brandstatter -hall, Dave McNeight jr , all these cheating drug using morons! But if you throw them out , you’d only have a few trainers left , then there wouldn’t be racing . Very few honest trainers there and unfortunately they don’t have much of a chance with all the drug using cheating scumbags !

Didn’t win many races in the early 80’s. Has better horses now. I believe he drives his own when then have bad draws/no chance. Puts others on when alive and good draws.

Dave Russo certainly didn't waste any time lighting them up. Both mares racing yesterday looked like they were on fire.

Not much praise coming in this thread about Buffalo Raceway. LOL! I've never been there or even bet it. But from what you've all said, i'm glad I avoided it.

Buffalo Raceway is the worst harness racing track in the world. Terrible track conditions, Race Secretary is a crook. Majority of trainers are chemists especially since the track does zero testing. You have been banned you are welcomed at Buffalo Raceway. Beard trainers for the majority of trainers. Kevin and Kyle Cummings help each other every race they can. Top 2 trainers would tip the scales at 700 lbs if allowed on a scale together. You're lucky if your horse gets fed.

Generally the racing surface is better at Saratoga. The first and third turn at Buffalo is a corner, not a turn!
Driving colonies? Use your own judgment on this.
The barns are better at Buffalo than Saratoga. Go look at the barns at Saratoga. Now take a look at the Monticello barns. Make Saratoga’s look good by comparison.
IMO, better horses at Saratoga than Buffalo.

I always wonder how tracks like Batavia, Vernon Downs, Saratoga, Buffalo, and Monticello just keep going year after year. Despite no real attendance and the sport no very popular, they just keep on going.

Batavia actually does draw a crown in the Summer. On a Friday or Saturday in the Summer there's a nice atmosphere
at the Downs. Probably 10x the attendance of Monticello/Tioga or Buffalo.

Saratogas barn area is an absolute disgrace an embarrassment to any other than a standardbred horse trainer there’s no justification there
They have horse abuser trainers convicted by court of law that are allowed in Saratoga
