Happy Sunday Everyone!  :)

Whether racing and or sports I hope today is a peaceful, fun, winning one.

Here are my Hawthorne 1st race wagers (below), Good Luck!   ;D

The champ is sparring today, very good luck to you JT with your 5's and football!   tmbz1

Talk about what you want of course, in Harness they have a chicken thread this week  ngc3 they're pretty liberal on starting threads on whatever you want.  Now Dougie started 2 sports threads in the political section, but that was by purely accident.   ngc3

good luck today everyone

its a pleasure to post on this side--the harness side is entertaining yet mostly aggravating

also--there is something new--sunday night tbred racing at Century Downs starting at 6:30 PM EST and Hastings has six races starting at 5:30 EST

tonight's card is pretty good--some optional claimers/starter allowance races-not just cheap rats

I may post a coldpunch exacta later today in race 5

NJ doesn't have Shenandoah on the list-otherwise I would play a race or two

they should all be on everyone's list

Of course my most hated jockey Dylan Davis could not get the 2 up in race 2 at the A. Nothing worse then using the all button and the chalk wins.

The 2 was a tiny horse lol, looked like it at least.  If it's any consolation the 7 was the favorite in the DD pool by a little bit over the 1.

Just get it the fuck home, and with profit.  Amen!   tmbz1

Would of cost $245 to have the all on the end.

You're back in winning form  tmbz1, and that justifies more $ latitude when you feel you might need it.  Or like Bello does, higher base bet with less combos if and when those scenarios come into play.

Congrats, 9/10 with a win and you finished 2nd in the last which shows further how much better your selections have gotten.

Prior to that, going to the beginning year, no month with more than a +/- $2k win / loss, and with rebates likely no worst than even smaller than that or break even on the loss side.

Now, this fucking cooler...

From August 1, 2025 - Today, September 21, 2025

Totals       27,544.10    100.00%    16,040.71    (11,503.39)    -41.76%

This has been horrible.  With promos and rebates still a $10k hit.

This week an L for a G loss.  Little less with rebates, and promos, -@$700.

My budget going forward is $300 a week.  That is fixed for the entire rest of the year.  Betting off wins allows more, however no out of pocket weekly investment more than $300 and that includes rebates which I can withdraw, however promos credited to me would have to be wagered so they would be allowed.

The budget will be stuck to  tmbz1, and no borrowing from the next week  ngc3.  Rebates will start and pay this week going forward, so a depositing breather anyway.  It's either pure budget, budget - promos and win to wager more.  I'm also going to start with wagering more on the higher potential paying wagers like the multilegs, hi5, carryover pools, a lot less with the bs same race wagers unless long shots involved or large win bets.

Tomorrow Finger Lakes, that card so back in the lions den there.  They have 4 stakes races too in their 9 race card.  Then Harrington which I'm 3/4 winning days and up over a G total.  Prior to that it must be a decade or so since I bet it.  Harrington will be fast and FL will likely be fast with minor if any rain.

It will be tough for me not to bet on the Finger tomorrow, but I have taken a beating their recently. After today and tonight I'm taking at least a few days off.. reasses strategies and clear my head. I like your new strategy. I exorcized my Gulfstream demons today, but I know a bigger one is in the near future. Hopefully tomorrow you break the finger, not a leg ngc3

JT and Bello, you too are prime time handicapping athletes, Sunday night is a last ditch efforts for loooosers (like me  ngc3) to hail mary some cash back.

Anywho,I saw the results.  3/4 on both JT, I wouldn't even know about Bello's if I didn't follow Dougie's $80 place wager.

What's so special about you two anyway, you pick winners and cash tickets. I on the other hand cause horses to looooooooosssse.  I won my only race at Hawthorne and before my next race at GP went off they shut the track down.  Can you do that?!   ngc3

No contest on Northfield 10th.
I was watching, just following along with bello's picks, that could have turned ugly

The starting gate malfunctioned. The wings didn't close properly. The race went a quarter before being called off. The outside horses had no chance. It's like the wings halfway shut then reopened then shut again
