You couldn't put up 50 fucking dollars you stupid asshole. ngc3
These 3 horses were in the Adios when everyone was clamoring and Prince Hal won the race a non Burke horse. ngc3
Why don't you put 5 bux to win and post the ticket on this site you ghetto clown to prove you can afford to do it. ngc3
Bet $500,000 and win 5%, $25,000...oh I have an idea for a thread, yes let me get this fantasy out there for all the world to see my complete and utter RETARDATION!!!! ;D

Talk about dominating. Burke’s 3some have almost $700k in earnings this year.
-
Trigger your problem is you don’t know value when you see it
-
In the old days this would have been Morty Finder’s kind of bet , but he would definitely prefer show. But they’re not offering show.
-
Trigger your problem is you don’t know value when you see it
You mean a 5% return against 100% of entire investment at RISK?
You are mentally retarded.
It's not an insult, it's a diagnosis.

I can't believe Burke allowed Page to retain the drive on Rick Wink after the Milstine debacle! He ran him into the wing on the low speed gate and then panicked. Why couldn't he yell "I think I'm getting a flat"or something else like the hopple hanger is coming unbuckled, like the crafty guy's do?? Nope he just sea sawed the hell out of him and watch the real drivers race for the massive purse.( I hope the rest of you gamblers got all over R.W. the next start with Yannick in the bike like did!! tmbz1)

Page is Ronnie's baby boy

None of it was cashout bustout's too.

$1 EXACTA 1/3 $17.20
$1 TRIFECTA 1/3/2 $38.00

Nope, my $21 went up in smoke, the 5 did nada from the 7 hole, and turning 21 into 22.05 wasn't the VALUE ngc3 play I was seeking out. ;D

His problem is he is a loser and stupid which is why he loses all the time. There was no Prince Hal Hanover in this race. Trigger feels so inadequate he has to attack everyone like a teenager. He has no live outside of his gambling addiction and Horseplop.
-
Having those horses coupled is so dumb and an antiquated rule...would have been a fun wagering race otherwise.
As it turns out that was the strongest entry I've seen since the 1994 Levy when Bill Robinson had a 6 horse entry and they ran 1,2,3,4,5. The exacta paid out on 1st and 6th. No WPS, only exacta wagering on that race.
HOWEVER here is my fear...let's say Rick Wink throws in another random break early and bothers a trailer. Sippinonsearoc and Swingtown end up 100 lengths in front. By rule THE ENTIRE ENTRY has to be disqualified. It's happened before in a major stakes race.

1/9 is a horrible bet but can somebody tell me the last time they saw three horses of that caliber in an entry. This particular bet was as close to a sure thing as you’ll find at the racetrack. But to use vulgar gutter talk because you don’t agree with someone is totally uncalled for. If there’s a Horseplop jail , Trigger deserves 30 days. But let’s get the sentence suspended, he might do himself in with no Horseplop for 30 days.

Anyone who comes here and recommends the suspension, banding of another is a FUCKING RODENT. You are a broke ass, bitch coward who talks big numbers, but when the pools come up way short, we ALL know that you didn't put your money where your mouth is, couldn't, you're ghetto poor poverty stricken. ngc3
As for Pacer 2, here is another cuntface inadequate coward on repeat. Never a new piece of material, always the same ol same ol anonymousey shit. One guy protects animals, goes after the bad guys publicly and is a prolific animal advocate. The other comes here and does what he says, win or loss and never afraid to put himself out there and have fun especially making mincemeat out of a LOSER. ngc3
Both of you are 2 sad pigeons who dream about me when you are not here and spend 1/2 your time here stalking me down. Every single member and non-member knowing you're both the 2 biggest losers on or off Plop. You know it too. That's your psych profile. Enjoy spending the lint in your broke ass pockets, and propping me up as your hero for attention every day! ;D

Anyone who know the game knows that one of the three best horses in the race was going to win. Since you are a degenerate gamble who does not know the game you LOST.

Trigger is a degenerate gambler who talks about the size of Ron Burke's cock. That is about as much as he knows about the game. He should be banded or given a "vacation". His "vulgar gutter talk" is a reflection of his inadequacy.

The odds were lower than 1/9. People who bet on this took Northfield's money as well as anyone who bet on the other entries. All three of Burke's horses were much superior to any other entries in the race. This was a gift to anyone who placed a bet.

There's a couple unwritten rules at Plop.
One is that "Root Downs" like the kind you seem to enjoy are very bad form and have in the past been sanctioned strongly.
The other is that you should leave the management of Plops - including who should be banned - to our team of hard working folks responsible for just that.

oh Kenny
it is not a question of winning that race --it is a question you ask yourself---if they raced the same field 20 times-would they win all 20?
if so--winning 20-of 21 is a break even point
also consider this was Burke--not trustworthy
if we are talking show betting-then I would say $2.10 was value--but IMHO in the win pool-it wasn't value
-
Like I mentioned earlier the biggest threat to that 1/20 entry is one of them causing an infraction that warrants a DQ...then THEY ALL COME DOWN.
-

yes-i have seen this happen before
once at Pompano about 20 years it cost the bridgejumpers a bundle

ngc3
They do not all come down.
Only the horse causing the infraction.
They finished One Two Three the 3 entries, if the winner was dq'd then his 2nd entry part of the entry finishing second would be put up.
One gets 50% of the purse then 20% the 10% for third I think. Burke got 80% of the $100k purse.
You say I know it all and you know nothing! ;D

Wrong. All come down and are placed behind the offended horse.

maybe not purse money--but for wagering purposes I have seen them come down whether they caused any infraction or not--if the stablemate did--they all get DQd

Quoting Rules:
"If a two-horse entry finishes first and second but one is disqualified, your wager is settled based on the highest-placed, remaining horse from the entry
. In this case, since the entry still finished in the money, your bet is still a winner, but the disqualification will affect the final payout and the official order of finish.
How the disqualification affects your wager
The highest-placing horse from the entry is used. For betting purposes, a coupled entry (e.g., 1 and 1A) is treated as a single betting interest. If the horse that finished first is disqualified, the second-place finisher from the entry now counts as the entry's official finishing position.
The official order of finish is adjusted. The disqualification means the offending horse is placed behind the horse(s) it interfered with, or last, depending on the rules. Any other horses that finish behind the disqualified horse are moved up one position in the official order.
Payouts are based on the new official order. The official order of finish determines the pari-mutuel payouts. For example, if the entry's winning horse (1A) is disqualified and the entry's second-place horse (1) remains, payouts for the "win" position will be based on the horse that is elevated to first place. The entry itself will receive the payout for "place" (second).
Wagering is not impacted by post-race DQs. It is important to note that disqualifications that happen after the race has been declared "official" (such as a failed drug test) do not affect the initial pari-mutuel payouts. They only impact the distribution of the purse money to the owners.
Example scenario
Assume an official finish of:
Horse 1A (part of coupled entry 1/1A)
Horse 1 (part of coupled entry 1/1A)
Horse 2
Horse 3
If the stewards disqualify Horse 1A for interference:
Betting result: Your bet on the 1/1A entry is still a winner because Horse 1 remains in second place, which is "in the money".
Payout: The win pool is paid out to those who bet on Horse 2, as it is moved up to first. Your entry wager will be paid out for the place (second) position.
Official order: The new official order for wagering purposes would be Horse 2, Horse 1, Horse 3, etc., as Horse 1A is dropped from the official placement."

N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 9 § 4117.11 - Coupled entry penalties
"(a) If two or more horses are coupled in the betting as an entry and one or more of them shall be disqualified for violation of the rules of racing, the balance of the entry shall also be disqualified if in the judgment of the judges such violation prevented any other horse or horses from finishing ahead of the other part of the entry. If said violation is without such effect upon the finish of the race, penalty therefor may be applied against the offender and the balance of the entry may go unpunished.
(b) This section shall not apply to horses coupled as a field in the betting, nor to a horse, part of an entry penalized for running, or breaking gait, if in the opinion of the judges such break does not aid any other horse in the entry to improve his position at the finish other than being advanced in the summary as a result of the penalty. In the case of a horse coupled as the field, only the offending horse shall be disqualified."

I can testify otherwise
the race at Pompano had a 1/1A entry who went off 1/9
the #1 was on the engine and won easily-however the 1A broke and interfered with a 80/1 shot, who was last
both were DQd for wagering purposes
I emailed the judges-they told me "that was the rule"
this was over 20 years ago-maybe they changed the rule
-but that didn't happen at Pompano that night

Different states, different rules and even down to different situations making that determination.

Different states, different rules and even down to different situations making that determination.
agree that seems to be the case
maybe it is harness vs tbred related also
looking forward-NYRA has changed their rule allowing most entries to be raced uncoupled starting Monday
I believe Ohio and Quebec are the only two places that will still have coupled entries
-
It happened in the Art Rooney final at Yonkers in 2003 I think. $275K race.
The 1 won the race and didn't do anything wrong but the 1A bothered the horse who ran second, so both halves of the entry were dq'ed.
I think it was No Pan Intended who was second and was placed first.

Very confusing but I agree with everyone that different states or provinces have different rules.
