AKE is THE trotting master
If I dealt in expensive grand circuit trotters, I would pay him whatever it took to get into his stable.
Congrats

Ake is great trainer he can make any trotter trot without hopples but with that being said he has some sort of blast ( most likely EPO) he uses. He peaks them for the big days. Perfect example Gap Kronos had no trot a few weeks ago yesterday he trotting out of his skin.

I have no proof one way or the other if he does/doesn't use anything but Gap Kronos had one "poor" start this year, and hasn't missed a check. Could just as easily been sick. And yes - Ake can get a horse ready for the big day better than anyone.
I backed Nordic Catcher pretty well. I don't know why people weren't more impressed by him last week and the colt has been better and better. He's an absolute powerhouse to look at. Great steer by Ake to let him lay outside there for a bit, certainly looks like the type of horse who could take some air and he effectively made Yannick pay mightily for his mistake in not retaking by keeping him pinned in till he out of ground to run him down.
-
Most of the horses trained by Scandinavians can take a lot of air.. They can sit outside a long ways and still go on when asked. I believe I heard him say after last weeks win that the pacers have more strength and that is what this horse shows..

Unfortunately the horse's effort gets overshadowed by the track owners highly offensive comments about his track maintenance crew

Was that in winner’s circle? I couldn’t here the interview

I was in the winners circle and couldn't even hear the comments.

Yes. He had the trackcrew make the 2 path as hard as possible for the svanstendts. Since the horse was barefoot, he needed it that way to really allow him to grab the track. They wanted to be out there in that path on the track. Now the other parts of the track were not nearly the same.
That's been the sindustry story ever since. Not the horse who is extremely unique and talented. Shame

...He said that in a public interview??

If he said that in an interview it is on video. When someone makes a slanderous remark like this, they need others to corroborate the story or, better yet, actual video or audio of the comment.

100% agreed. I find it hard to believe. I have also now seen one individual say he had the crew make the track hard in the 2-path and one saying they made the track deep. Can't be both. Is either true?

He did mention "that the track waterman watered to Sarah's suitability"
-
Yes he said this in the interview after the win.

He did mention "that the track waterman watered to Sarah's suitability"
It was a joke, but came off weird and completely inappropriate for the moment.
-
He's years ahead of all you guys
-
So, if this was the case was Akes horse the only one allowed access to the 1 or 2 hole ?? And, the other drivers that had driven several prior races had no idea of the best lanes ? Sorry but all the other horses were out trained and out driven by a trotter with a pacing dam..

Guessing this is all overblown but there did seem to be a lot of horses spinning their wheels - especially in the two wide.
The thing that is interesting with Ake is that he can really get one ready but man does he chew through them. Outside of Jiggy Jog most of his peak for a short time and then fall apart.

Ake's horses look good & wear little equipment. He's in shape like someone who works hard& unlike the heavy BS artists who claim hard work.
I believe he has real talent. Does he have an edge? He might & use it to keep up with the 100 % cheats. Who wants to lose to no talent juicers?
Ake pays big money for many trotters. He is not buying horses from others. Combining that with talent will produce some good ones.

Appears to be the best trot man in a looooooong while
-
Ake has been doing this a while with gural. Swedish blood doping .one week the horse backs through the field the next week he's NIATROSS. this has been going a while.
