Be prepared for alot of post drag. Ever since Mark Patterson resigned it is horrible. When he was there they started right at post time. Now a 10 minute drag at least. I used to play Mountaineer alot on Sunday nights, not much else to choose from, but not much anymore.

I read Deshawn Parker will be guest analyst along with Nancy Mcmichael. I have not tuned in since Mark left. Still on the fence.

agree Mark was the major reason for tuning in

they previously NEVER has any drag-but without Mark their handle must have dropped enough to install a drag

now i look at Ocean Downs on sunday nights

The site is becoming impossible, way too much time and concern to log in, post, obviously y'all know.  When anything distracts us, doing what we're doing it's a problem.

I enjoy hanging with all you, it's productive too.  If this continues here at Horseplop with the lag I'd definitely like to continue our handicapping outside of here as individuals, a group, until things are fixed here.  I'd give you my email upon request...Think about it.

Ellis Park has 4 stakes races between the 7-10 race (342pm - 512pm).  Their track configuration is 1 1/8 mile dirt, 1 mile turf similar to Gulfstream Park, SPA and Aqueduct dirt and outer courses.

Will post selects when I have, if I can lol!   ;D

I need to stay away from The Spa until Travers Day

Dutrow is training at 15% and this was a 1st time starter.

I respect your decision though, but it ain't happening, you'll be back to the SPA before 3 weeks.  ;D

JT, if I was in your shoes staring down at a @330 to 720 profit, I'd throw 30 win on the 5 as Insurance.  If the 5 odds hold at 10-1 and he won heaven forbid  you'll double your original bet, or get paid 30 less on the one's you have if he doesn't win.  It's just a strategy to guarantee a win.

Taking a big swing today
Spa early Pick 5
2/1-7/All/1/1,3,4,6,7..
$145 bucks

Congrats...I love your use of the all button. I tend to be a minimal horizontal player but I am impressed with how you use the all button.

That is a good idea in some instances, but I didn't do that this time. I thought the 5 had no shot. I blazed a profit of $420 ;D

Thanks bello.. you got to have a big bankroll to use it and be willing to take your lumps. It sucks using the all button and the favorite wins like in race 2 at the spa today. If Kendrick didn't try, which often times he doesn't, then it would have been a much better payout

I made this bet about an hour ago at least, but the site was down of course so here it is..we got a shot at another one.
Spa Pick 5 starting in race 3
All/1/1,3,4,6,7/All/8
$140 bucks.. first 3 legs are done already
I really wish the 3 could of held on in race 5.
$74 bigger profit for the first one and a higher potential for the 2nd one

Mountaineer

race 7--around 745 EST

I'm going to try and sleigh the heavy favorite with a minor upset...going with #1 Not This Boy..who will only be 2/1 or 5/2

coming off two very sharp efforts at CD..and what's this? Luis Saez at The Mountain?

#8 Hit Show has been facing Fierceness, Sierra Leone, etc and looks obvious-but I am hoping Saez gets the jump on him

simple win bet #1

If my money has to make up more than 5% of the entire pool fuck it.

I bet these early, knew the 1 would take money, didn't care.  I could of actually lost money, won little or broke even as I bet $116 on the race.

I get it. In my case, I never showed my wager at the track, at OTB or on line. Ibet late and I don't necessarily bet every race I post. I handicap and like giving my thoughts on how I arrived at selections whether I bet the race or not. Likewise I like hearing how others arrived at their selections

I know, if I detail a race it's fun too, which typically if I only do 0-2 races a day it's easier when there is only one, but I follow a lot of quality horses that race weekend stakes and it's too much to handicap muchless do the detail, but like you I like to think, write it out.

That is exactly what happened. I thought the 1 would hang on.. let's just say I had the first 2 legs of the pick 5 and then I had the 1 singled.. my last 2 legs were 2,4,5/9. I'll be ill when the last 2 legs come in

Hit Show has earned $8.5 mil-was just beaten 6 lengths by Mindframe/Mystik Dan/Sierra Leone...and goes off 7/5 vs a CD allowance horse

Sierra Leone just flattered that effort by winning The Whitney yesterday

if anyone had a win bet on Hit Show--you are enjoying the CAW late action--sometimes it works out as $4.80 was a gift

I never would have dreamed that the 8 would go off at 7/5..and good luck bello

Let's try to make these bitch free threads, you lose, you felt you got robbed, something serious shit let's talk about it, but if it's just like the crybaby shit with every fucking JT pick 5 that he don't hit which are the majority....stop betting horses and go to a therapist and get well.

Please stop sending me pms JT that are one thing here and another there, contradictory fake phony bullshit.  Or just grow up or fuck off completely!  ;D

No crybaby shit here and I've never sent you or anyone else on here a private message. Also nothing fake or phony, or contradictory about my betting at all. No need to get shitty. I know that playing mostly pick 5's that the majority of them will be losers, but I play to win big and only need to hit 1 of 10 to stay even or better.

Have you considered condensing your bets instead of taking up several pages breaking down each combination, I'm sure some people find it annoying. No one else takes up more than a few lines but your bets are like War and Peace.

I'm not trying to be as wise guy but is there anything you're not an expert in. Let's see, handicapper, actually you're a compulsive gambler who will be go broke in a matter of time, and who really gives a shit what you had for dinner last night. You are so desperate for people to like you that you make up all kinds of shit and expect people to believe them. What I'm trying to say is you are and always have been a big fucking loser.

Man that is fucked.. thanks for the apology.

As soon as you said it that's not me, I said wtf and then saw the spacing, so subtle.

So here we are enjoying in the T-Bred usually dead section, suffering too occasionally but a real cool action thread with great ploppers and at any given time the best of the best handicappers.  Everyone acting respectful, cordial, helpful...

Instead of fuckface Maxx Bucknell just coming in to say his peace, or just come in to enjoy himself he pulls a calculated stunt like this...again, I feel awful and I'm forever grateful for accepting my apology and understanding.  Thank you JT!

Watch out for the spacing of the letters. In the sound off board you said he was a big Rick Wink fan. That actually is my post on that link you posted on page 2. That and he has well over 1,000 posts and I am just short of that.

I said JT matters meaning you, they know the spacing and have the link, no one would fuck with you.

Total return was 984.80 from the 702.40.

Things slowed down considerably after the Harrah's Chester win but enough to profit 282.40.

I'm elated JT hit a nice one, so close on others which shows he's lit, I didn't check ev1s posts, but I'm rooting for all of us.

Maxx Bucknell disguised himself with the handle J T, not our / the real JT and started some shit, I temporarily fell for it, it made no sense, but he was outed fairly quickly thanks to our bro, the only JT.

Shame people are so angry, possibly jealous, and they find it fun to impersonate.  Can't ya be yourself, guess not Maxxie!   ;D

What a fucking blow to lose these great friends, I wish they RIP and sincere condolences, sorry John for your losses in them.

10-4 on the ring!   tmbz1
