as the Liberty Bell track announcer back in the late 70s, early 80s , Joe Eichorn would say..."move and wager"

Thanks for the download Wizard tmbz1

OK JT!

Twin B Joe Fresh will seek to rebound from her loss last start but Sylvia seems to be advancing now in ability. AKE will look to win the Hambo big time gunning for the lead so never overlook him for the potential win. Only ONE Walner horse ($50,000 stud fee) is in the Hambo yet THREE Greenshoes ($10,000 reduce stud fee)!

Emoticon Legacy

The Meadowlands usually has a live Youtube feed of the whole card on big days like this, I hope they do because I can put it on the big screen and watch it.
Anyone know for ure if they will have it?
Thanks

I read that its going to be on The Meadowlands Youtube channel and I plan on watching it there as well.

Won't consider AKE pulling it off?

Is Captain Albano ripe for a win today? Last year the North America handle was $7,417,802! We shall see how close they come this day to it.

I think the Oaks is wide open with at least 6 of the 10 having a shot. Conversano is a tough, gutsy filly and Deja Blue is bred to be the Queen; however I thought that R Charm put in a sharp race last out and Miller can still put a good steer on one when the big $$ is on the line, so I will be using R Charm up and down in exactas with 5 other horses.
The Hambo itself has the logical 3 (Super Chapter, Emoticon Legacy and Maryland), but Emoticon seems (like Conversano for the fillies) to have more stamina, whereas Super Chapter and Maryland can really turn on the burners. Will keep my wallet in my pocket on this one and enjoy the race.
On the pacing side for the McKee, I think Funtime Bayama has been working back steadily and, perhaps stealthily. Causes me pause that they didn't put McDonald back up on him, since he seemed to get along well with him last time, but Timmy T. can also give him a decent steer at a price. And I will use him top and bottom with 3 others in the exacta. Also, rooting for the horse (not necessarily the connections.)

I have a sneaky suspicion that Nancy Takter horses might have a big day and seeing Nancy and Michelle Crawford in the winners circle might be a good treat

The big day has arrived and the weather could not be better at a sunny and mild 78 degrees! Local sports show Sports Nation on WPIX last night here in NYC/NJ had a 10 minute segment with John Campbell promoting the Hambletonian today hosted by Marc Malusis and Nelson Figueroa which was nice for the sport to get free advertising.

Funtime Bayama is not a stakes horse and should be in overnights weekly already. They are wasting the horse coming in last in these top races.

Goop look great in the McDonald's golden arch colors

AKE did it again! Dunn had no shot at winning.

Nice to see US born drivers take the 14th, 15th and 16th today tmbz1

East Rutherford, NJ –Total handle on the 16-race Hambletonian Day card Saturday at The Meadowlands totaled $7,464,087, up slightly over 2024, when $7.427 million was pushed through the windows in North America.
“And after the foreign entities are added to the total, our Hambletonian Day handle figures to be in excess of $8 million for a fourth straight year,” said Big M Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir.
A crowd of 17,696 jammed into the mile oval as on-track betting totaled $851,826, an increase over last year of 8.2 percent.
“Great weather and the usual great Hambletonian Day card led to a big day of wagering on-site,” said Settlemoir. “We appreciate our faithful fans, and, of course our horsemen and staff for putting on another great show.”

Neither is Amazing Catch - should pry go to Scioto and see if he can make a few back in the open. Will give him a few more starts but think It’s My Show might be cooked too
