I knew of King with Shartin N but couldn't place a world champion with G Teague. I know he has had champions but can't recall a World Champion..Maybe..

Snow White is listed as a champion but don't see World Champion..Maybe as well

Whatever happen to North State Street Stable?

George is actually doing quite well. Racing a third of what he was racing but doing well locally.

Jimmy lost his big money owners and Timmy is slumping without the Fishman recipe. But still doing Ok. Looks like he's scaled way back as well. Lost his best groom.

Lare is our John Wagner. Always getting caught and trying to beat the system with beards. Been like this for over 35 years. Never going to change as long as DHRC allows it!

New super trainer in the making at Harrington?  SHE has some big money owners behind her and the barn is growing.  Good thing her boss is suspended and doesn't need the stalls.   ngc3

Lare, King, Teague?  Don't know many others from Delaware that had World Champions.

Jim King is about 80 and has slowed down and shrunk his stable

Shartin , Lyons Sentinel and Wakisashi Hanover he only had a small percentage of ownership...he and Joann basically focus on DBFS races and they keep making money with an old sire named Roddys Bags Again

Teague is basically retired...only dabbles in DBFS types--his champions include Rainbow Blue, Lather Up and of course WIJI--has had many other very good ones like Badlands Nitro and Custard the Dragon

Lare's only real good one was Snow White--who frequently tied up a lot

Josh Green--he had a few good ones also

Wayne Givens had Jerseylicious

you could easily go state by state and make a list--whats the point?

Jimmy King is 75 and bought several yearlings last year and the year before.......no hits....all misses......

George Teague hasn't scaled back....had 25 homebred mares foal out this year......just duds.....Cl yde Francis is trainer for MST (MONTRELL),BRENDA,George and ELIZABETH MURPHY (MONTRELLS BABY MOMMA

King is only looking for DBFS horses as I mentioned--none of them are of any Grand Circuit hopes--they are cheap and don't spend much to compete in that series-then they are nothing

George--same thing- maybe he hasn't scaled back as much as I have thought-he is breeding Lather Up to some really cheap mares and not looking to hit the jackpot--he already did a few times

we all know about Clyde Francis-it was made public years ago George was turning over the official title of trainer to his longtime friend

Brenda owns most of the ones she trains-not Clyde

Have a feeling Nicky going to lose some customers unless Timmy is scared of another positive and they will continue letting her be down as trainer.

Crissman doesn't have that big of a stable, and since he's had no money coming in for 6 months, I highly doubt he's going to be stupid enough to take the risk.

Tony is 66 and still does well, and I'm sure has enough money tucked away that even if he ultimately is charged and suspended, can just as easily retire comfortably.

Teague and King will not spend much of their own money looking for a big time horse--combined with not associating with deep pocketed owners anymore means they wont be competing on the Grand Circuit

Sure everyone can say they are buying busts and losing a lot of money-but when you are spending a few thousand here and there--that is not really losing much in the grand scheme of things

they are both happy buying cheap, local DBFS horses and have little risk

everyone can yell "see, no more juice"--but that simply isn't the case

what big money owners?

the last "big thing" Teague trained was Lather Up--more than 5 years ago

the last "big thing" King has trained was Lyons Sentinel--also years ago

can you please name a horse, either theirs or someone elses, that costs a lot of money and failed?

they haven't tried for Grand Circuit horses since then

that's what I am talking about

as far as their own--they both have their own farms and costs are minimilized

Teagues young horses were monsters..When he lost the steroid/blood recipe he became normal again. I don't see him at the mission or Social Services getting assistance, So. I assume he's doing just fine with his homebreds. Leave the guy alone. he's not the one you need to worry about. Look how much money the Givens are taking out of the Delaware sire races and then we'll talk!

Not clue what threelyons racing or paton racing paid for yearlings.  But I bet some were pricy.  There are two big money owners.  Is that enough?  Teague hasn’t had many owners outside friends and family for years.  And even then it was mainly him and a couple owners that did well with homebreds.  Why you getting so worked up?

You said they haven’t been spending big money anymore. They never really spent big money. The world champions were either homebred or wouldn’t be considered Big Money by industry standards .  I think Western ace  cost around $30,000.
