Name three Delaware horsemen that had WORLD CHAMPIONS and now can hardly keep anything qualified......
Also.reason for downfall?????
-
Larry, Moe and Curly?
-
Lare, King, Teague? Don't know many others from Delaware that had World Champions.
-

I knew of King with Shartin N but couldn't place a world champion with G Teague. I know he has had champions but can't recall a World Champion..Maybe..
Snow White is listed as a champion but don't see World Champion..Maybe as well
Whatever happen to North State Street Stable?

Now they can't train LASSIE to bark?
What's up with that???
-
And constant money problems?????
-
Now they can't train LASSIE to bark?
What's up with that???
George is actually doing quite well. Racing a third of what he was racing but doing well locally.
Jimmy lost his big money owners and Timmy is slumping without the Fishman recipe. But still doing Ok. Looks like he's scaled way back as well. Lost his best groom.
Lare is our John Wagner. Always getting caught and trying to beat the system with beards. Been like this for over 35 years. Never going to change as long as DHRC allows it!
-
All three in financial stress....is Fishman the key.....
Is Lare living in his truck again????
-
New super trainer in the making at Harrington? SHE has some big money owners behind her and the barn is growing. Good thing her boss is suspended and doesn't need the stalls. ngc3
-
Groom promoted to trainer....just a pawn

This past meet at Dover, North State Street Stable was listed as part owner of a horse with George and Tina Dennis. I know they used to use Dylan Davis as their trainer.
-

I think you mean Lather Up.

They owned Snow White with Lare as trainer several years back.

CURTIS LARRIMORE....RETI RED COMPUTER SALES
-
Lare, King, Teague? Don't know many others from Delaware that had World Champions.
Jim King is about 80 and has slowed down and shrunk his stable
Shartin , Lyons Sentinel and Wakisashi Hanover he only had a small percentage of ownership...he and Joann basically focus on DBFS races and they keep making money with an old sire named Roddys Bags Again
Teague is basically retired...only dabbles in DBFS types--his champions include Rainbow Blue, Lather Up and of course WIJI--has had many other very good ones like Badlands Nitro and Custard the Dragon
Lare's only real good one was Snow White--who frequently tied up a lot
Josh Green--he had a few good ones also
Wayne Givens had Jerseylicious
you could easily go state by state and make a list--whats the point?
-
CURTIS LARRIMORE....RETI RED COMPUTER SALES
You're correct, and I think he was trained by Joe Columbo from the G Dennis stable.
-
If tapes come out with anyone from Delaware nothing will be done. They have already ignored all the records incriminating several of their favorites. One of the more corrupt commissions out there! tmbz1
-
So, you're saying this isn't George?
Francis Clyde 23.6 55 13 11 5 .378 $146,394 as of yesterday at Harrington.

tmbz1 True
-
I mean how can they NOT do anything about Grasso saying on the record that Tony Morgan in Maryland and Delaware was buying EPO by the thousands from China! Freezes dried viles!
-
Curtis Larrimore owned part of Snow White. I boarded her for two months...perfect lady...and he would visit from time to time to check her out. Nice guy....

Funny but true

Jimmy King is 75 and bought several yearlings last year and the year before.......no hits....all misses......
George Teague hasn't scaled back....had 25 homebred mares foal out this year......just duds.....Cl yde Francis is trainer for MST (MONTRELL),BRENDA,George and ELIZABETH MURPHY (MONTRELLS BABY MOMMA
-
A good portion of King's stable are owned by his wife except for the "Lyons" horses.

King is only looking for DBFS horses as I mentioned--none of them are of any Grand Circuit hopes--they are cheap and don't spend much to compete in that series-then they are nothing
George--same thing- maybe he hasn't scaled back as much as I have thought-he is breeding Lather Up to some really cheap mares and not looking to hit the jackpot--he already did a few times
we all know about Clyde Francis-it was made public years ago George was turning over the official title of trainer to his longtime friend
Brenda owns most of the ones she trains-not Clyde
-
Teague never owned Lather Up until midway through his 4-year-old season when his owner Gary Iles gave him a piece of the horse.

we know
Lather Machine, Barber Pole, etc
I never said George owned Lather Up
-
Scissor Magic, Shaving Mug, Crew Cut Zach, who won over a million, all were owned by Iles who was a barber by profession in New Castle, DE

Dob.Jim King.2/16/52...age 73 siblings....Jacki e,Wayne,Mark,Tina,mother Carol.Mark&Tina decease
-
Lather Up. Western Ace. Rainbow Blue. Total Truth. Yea George has had a few good ones.

I know G and T Dennis use Joseph Columbo as trainer for some horses.

Some?

-
Tony will always be the best. He can drive, train, vet, pre-race and do surgery.
-
did he go to the same island vet school fishman did?
-
No, he went to university of MOM!

You're really smart! tmbz1
-
You're really smart! tmbz1
Don't you just love it..George has been racing under Columbo name as trainer for over 10 years on all and now it's "some"!
-
Clearly not a follower of the circuit. That stable races 20+ every week. Columbo down at every track on every horse.
-
And not one positive!
-
8 more days and Tim Crissman and Art Stafford Jr, are free! Be interesting to see what horses they go down as trainer on.
We know Stafford is using Andrew so that won't be a surprise.
-
Do we believe Grasso? Accuses Tony Morgan of importing Epogen to NJ Vet Board.

Have a feeling Nicky going to lose some customers unless Timmy is scared of another positive and they will continue letting her be down as trainer.
-
Crissman doesn't have that big of a stable, and since he's had no money coming in for 6 months, I highly doubt he's going to be stupid enough to take the risk.

They've had the goods on him forever. Nothing sticks to Teflon Tony aka the brown stain, aka the truck doctor.
-
Tony is 66 and still does well, and I'm sure has enough money tucked away that even if he ultimately is charged and suspended, can just as easily retire comfortably.
-
Lare, King, Teague? Don't know many others from Delaware that had World Champions.
Daryl Bier had 2. Special t Rocks in 2012. 1:48:3 ,4 year old gelding on a 5/8ths at Pocono and Higher and Higher in 2011. 4 year old mare 1:49:2 at Dover. Both world records at the time.
-
George Teague had an incredible run but where is he now? Probably disgusted with the game when bums like the ones on the Harrington program take the money nightly
-
George only has Delaware bred horses now, and none are anything special, probably losing money on all of them.

Speaking of Daryl, he died of a heart attack last year at age 57.

Teague and King will not spend much of their own money looking for a big time horse--combined with not associating with deep pocketed owners anymore means they wont be competing on the Grand Circuit
Sure everyone can say they are buying busts and losing a lot of money-but when you are spending a few thousand here and there--that is not really losing much in the grand scheme of things
they are both happy buying cheap, local DBFS horses and have little risk
everyone can yell "see, no more juice"--but that simply isn't the case
-
Most of Teague’s are homebred and king still has a couple big money owners. Not sure where you are coming up with this info. tmbz1

what big money owners?
the last "big thing" Teague trained was Lather Up--more than 5 years ago
the last "big thing" King has trained was Lyons Sentinel--also years ago
can you please name a horse, either theirs or someone elses, that costs a lot of money and failed?
they haven't tried for Grand Circuit horses since then
that's what I am talking about
as far as their own--they both have their own farms and costs are minimilized

Teagues young horses were monsters..When he lost the steroid/blood recipe he became normal again. I don't see him at the mission or Social Services getting assistance, So. I assume he's doing just fine with his homebreds. Leave the guy alone. he's not the one you need to worry about. Look how much money the Givens are taking out of the Delaware sire races and then we'll talk!

Not clue what threelyons racing or paton racing paid for yearlings. But I bet some were pricy. There are two big money owners. Is that enough? Teague hasn’t had many owners outside friends and family for years. And even then it was mainly him and a couple owners that did well with homebreds. Why you getting so worked up?
-
crickets
Sorry i didn’t respond fast enough. I do have to work from time to time. ngc3

no one is getting " worked up"
just pointing out your erroneous assumptions about both and what they have been doing the last 5 years
no worries
-
You said they haven’t been spending big money anymore. They never really spent big money. The world champions were either homebred or wouldn’t be considered Big Money by industry standards . I think Western ace cost around $30,000.
