Race 14 Matty Athearn way over drives the 3rd quarter and Brett makes a fool of him and jogs for number 7!
How can anyone use athearn? He's terrible.
Beckwith must laugh at these fools
-
Is he really that good or does he have a good prerace guy
-
great kid! great driver...
-
Is he really that good or does he have a good prerace guy
he must be--people keep starting new threads(over 10 now)without bothering to see if they can post on an already existing thread about him
to be honest-the kid is excellent and an up and coming star
-
Driving great and has power, tough to beat
-
send him to northfield. i bet he gets run. or they may just all blow each other. which would could happen too. but he would be third best there at the very best.
-
Lots of talent and potential. When will he stop playing JV and step up to varsity full time?
-
yea stop racing at the raceway park and northville of today.
-
I've seen some comparing Beckwith with John Campbell....
-
Give it a rest with the Beckwith threads already. Is he a good and up and coming driver. Yes absolutely, but look at the competition. Send him to Ohio and he would get taken to school. Probably would be the 5th or 6th best driver in the state. Most of you on here sound like his agent, or relative.
-
And send the Ohio guys east and see how they will do. The Burke drivers have a HUGE advantage in Ohio/Indiana. The others would be fair at best in the east.
-
Is he really that good or does he have a good prerace guy
There is gas in that family
-
And send the Ohio guys east and see how they will do. The Burke drivers have a HUGE advantage in Ohio/Indiana. The others would be fair at best in the east.
He's not up and coming HE's ARRIVED!! And he would completely dominate the weak Ohio group.
-
5 drivers off the top of my head from Ohio that are better. Page, Merriman,Wrenn Jr., Brett Miller, and soon to be David Miller. The drivers he is doing well against are the same drivers people on this forum slam all the time for being stiffs. The Merton's, Taggart , Gagoots kid, Rawlings, Athearn,Davaux etc..
-
You have to throw Noble in there, like him or not, because he's leading the standings at Miami.
-
You have to throw Noble in there, like him or not, because he's leading the standings at Miami.
Agreed so that makes 6.
-
If he is that good why doesn't he drive at Yonkers?
-
He's driving at the tracks where he gets the best horses to drive like at Saratoga and Plainridge, why would he try Yonkers where the driving colony is much better?
-
He's driving against David Miller, Yannick Gingras , Dexter Dunn, Andrew and Todd Mcarthy, Scott Zeron, Jason Bartlett, Jordan Stratton, Braxton Boyd, and Pat Lachance at the Meadowlands...... as good as they get!
-
He is driving the best gas horses at Saratoga and Plainridge.
-
Yes he drives alot of odds on. Yes he's driving power. Show me a leading driver anywhere who isn't driving odds on and power. Come on!!!
-
[quote author=
Pat Lachance and Braxten Boyd are in a group of "as good as it gets"? LMAO! The Mccarthy's have barely driven, same goes for Gingras and Zeron. Dunn and Tetrick haven't driven at all. When everyone is back, most of his live drives will be gone and for the most part, so will he.
-
I've seen some comparing Beckwith with John Campbell....
Cmon he’s 20 years old
-
Brett in great situation right now
Meantime, sensitive stuff but..
Who takes the solid H Myers .275 horse trips at Northfield and Meadows, and those long day double headers w/ Aaron and Ronnie? Will one guy be expected, or want to, step into demanding role..or will each track find that one guy who can third in standings at Northfield and/or 4th at Meadows.
Big shoes to fill.
what's Justin Irvine doing? Any interest, capable? Myers could pace and trot. Special stuff.
-
Irvine seems like a huge disappointment. I thought he was headed in the right direction but has leveled off at a young age. Maybe his head isn't in it with outside distractions.
-
its a good thing he does good at raceway park errrr northville, i mean saratoga. sorry i get those 3 tracks confused.
CAUSE HE WS FUCKING TERRIBLE LAST NIGHT!
-
I'm sensing a lot of jealousy of a 21 year old who makes more going in a circle than all of you
-
Didn’t look like the next John Campbell last night at the meadowlands
No 1/9 shots
-
Ahhhh back to Saratoga
-
yes back to saratoga and "moms " horses
i suggest we just end the thread and let the kid develop
lets see where he is in 3 years
there really is no need for a daily update on his drives
-
Didn’t look like the next John Campbell last night at the meadowlands
No 1/9 shots
He isn't now...and never will be on a John Campbell level. Very few are. Let's not talk dumb people. The kid has some talent. But he is racing in the minors regularly and he will be about the 7th or 8th option at M1.
-
tmbz1
-
The chosen one had 2 winners today…both 1/9. Tied with the legend that is Leon Bailey. Golden boy burnt a bunch of cash today! tmbz1
-
The chosen one had 2 winners today…both 1/9. Tied with the legend that is Leon Bailey. Golden boy burnt a bunch of cash today! tmbz1
He burns alot of money daily. But he's making piles daily! Can't win 5 to 7 to 8 races everyday. Especially when guys like Leon Bailey are crashing and running and gunning every race.
-
COME TO CLEVELAND OR DAYTON YOUNG MAN. PLEASE.
-
COME TO CLEVELAND OR DAYTON YOUNG MAN. PLEASE.
Id bet he would be at the very least third best at northfield.

Simply a bad take by you. He races against the best at the Meadowlands!

There's no one at Northfield better than him.
-
There's no one at Northfield better than him.
Do you sell drugs? Or just do them.
-
He regularly beats out HOFer Wally Hennessey at Saratoga, Bruce Ranger at Plainridge, plus wins against the toughest Meadowlands competition. Open your eyes and smell the coffee! ngc3

Those guys are 105 yrs old.

He is like 6th best there.

Those two are 20 years past their primes and the best at the Meadowlands? Are you even familiar with the regular driving colony there? ngc3
-
He can drive all day at the swamp . Meanwhile Bartlett looks better than anyone at the swamp this year.
-
The real year hasn’t even started. But yes, I’ve been impressed with JB so far. Just another one who will drive circles around BB.
-
Brett finished seventh in wins in 2023, third in 2024
-
He is like 6th best there.
Stop making up your lies! He's 1st at the Meadowlands in wins and money won! https://racing.ustrotting.com/reports/M_driverstats.pdf

Jenny from the block = HUGE LIAR CAUGHT ngc3 ngc3

He is 6th best with the colony that was there and will be there going forward.
Meadowlands from the first of the yr til April doesn't count. So I'm not lying. Suck a dick

Dexter

McCarthy
Yannick
Zeron
Hershberger
Bartlett
He maybe 8 or 9th best driver there from here on out.
-
Is only hope is latching onto a main account. Like a burke or per or nancy. And hope he does good with them. Other wise he is driving the 6th. 7th. 8th best horse every race. And not even every race. He didn't have a horse in every race last night.
-
He may very well turn out to be a hall of fame. He may win dash title this yr. But he is not the best or even close to it on the biggest stage. And that's ok. He will make a great living as long as he keeps the straight and narrow.

Hershberger? LMAO you can't be serious He doesn't even belong in top 10
-
That was dummy Jenny , yes? ngc3 ngc3
-
yes i do now think hershberger could be top ten at meadowlands with the right drives. i didnt think it before but i do now.
the beckwith kid had no soap saturday night. its ok though cause he is and will be getting 6-7-8th choice now. he will still go back to northville/raceway park of the east coast and dominate on his daddys juiced up horses who ship in and out on raceday.
i would do the same for my kid.

Honestly, Hershberger is overrated garbage. He's a cocky little prick who thinks he's all that. He sucks at Pocono. He is so inconsistent at Meadowlands which also has me thinking he bets against himself regularly. Look at the horses he drives at big M. Every other is a win or place . Tanks then wins or comes 2nd. Looks fishy AF.
I do agree with you on Beckwith though. He had nothing Saturday which I expected with the big boys back driving. He can't get away with the same shit he does at Saratoga and Plainridge. MOST of his wins are with doped up trainers...the list of them is long at Saratoga. Hard to find a clean one there. He drives for his daddy mostly at Plainridge so we know how that goes.
Hershberger and Beckwith will never make top 10. Both are overrated.

That won't last. He got all those wins at Meadowlands against pathetic drivers. He will never be among top 10 in this country. FACT! He's winning against clowns behind horses. FACT . He's winning with doped up horses FACT . yeah he wins a lot of races but ....he is no Dexter Dunn lol FACT

We'll have to disagree on that. He just turned 22 this year. He's on his way to being at the VERY top of the sport.

I THINK HE COULD PROBABLY WIN THE DASH TITLE THIS YR RACING AT AS MANY TRACKS AS HE DOES. ITS A VOLUME NUMBERS GAME. THROW THAT IN WITH 2 TRACKS ARE LIKE RACING AGAINST OUR SISTERS OF THE POOR. HE BETTER BE TOP TEN. HOW DOES HE NOT WIN 5 EVERY DAYS AT PLAINRIDGE AND SARTOGA OR MONTICELLO OR WHERE EVER HE LANDS.
I JUST DONT THINK HE IS A GREAT DRIVER AS OF YET. HE DRIVES AGAINST MOSTLY SCRUBS. THEN THROW IN DADS HORSES WHICH ANYONE COULD REALLY STEER THEM ANOUD A TRACK AND WIN IF THEY ARE GOOD.
VOLUME RACES EQUALS GOOD NUMBERS WHEN YOU RACE AT PATHETIC TRACKS.
-
LYING AGAIN? ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

If he raced at pathetic tracks as you claim how does he have more earnings than Yannick Gingras, Brett Miller, Ronnie Wrenn, Tim Tetrick, Matt Kakaly, Anthony Napolitano, George Brennan, Anthony Morgan, George Napolitano, Tyler Buter, David Miller, Scott Zeron, and Dave Palone???? ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

He has $150k more than yannick and it only took him 350 more drives to do it. Earnings per drive would be a more accurate representation. You left Dex of the list who has driven like 10 races. ngc3
-
Ok, the kid can drive a horse quite well and getting better. BUT. He gets a lot of help from a lot of places…. For example. Monday he has 3 drives at Saratoga before heading to plainridge. All three are in the first 3 races and on 2 of the three his mother is listed as trainer that day. AND. All three are 6-5…
Good luck young man , be careful both on the track and on the road.
-

they havent raced at all this year barely they been on the beach or doing whatever they do. talk to us on dec 31 biatch

Weak argument Liar Jenny when I named 15 guys including many HOFers! ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3
-
Let's talk about in in December. Sooner or later, it will all blow up at Saratoga it's only a matter of when.
-
4 winners yesterday...and I know this will be a shocker...they were all on mommy's juiced up rockets. Congrats to Brett! tmbz1
-
And mark has bunch in today at the ridge
-
Jeez, critics, he is 22, shows uncommon patience for someone that age. Don’t belittle him by comparing him to veterans with decades of experience. And from what I have read, he has a good disposition which helps when interacting with trainers. There have been more than a few who have jeopardized career success by bad-mouthing a horse when returning after a race.
-
Never met this kid, but from the outside in he's one of very few who is a bright spot in the game. How he got emotional talking about his grandfather at the USHWA awards proved to me how genuine he is. He is what is sorely missing from the industry.
-
Brett has decided to stay at the Meadowlands Friday and Saturday nights instead of driving anywhere else. Some big stables have already promised him some stake drives.
-
Watch his drive Saturday night race 13 at the swamp . The great Dex big favorite watch the kid stay calm split and hand drive through .
-
Brett has decided to stay at the Meadowlands Friday and Saturday nights instead of driving anywhere else. Some big stables have already promised him some stake drives.
I think he has a lot of talent and potential...sick of hearing comparisons to the greats. He isn't in that ballpark, yet anyway. Ready to see how he competes against the best. Not what has been at M1 so far.
-
How many did he win the last 2 Saturdays at the Meadowlands?
-
just 1
-
Let's just say it was much less than the number of times he lost as betting favorite. tmbz1
-
the hype on this kid is insane. Proof was in the pudding Saturday night at Meadowlands. When he's up against the big boys ..he doesn't even come close to those guys. He's good..yeah..at shit tracks with doped up mommy and daddy horses. Come on....he's way overrated. He IS driving against a bunch of clowns at Saratoga lol
-
He is a deceit driver but not as good as half of the clowns on here think he is. The last two Saturdays at the Meadowlands show that. I wish him well hope he does very well driving and hope that he doesn't pick up any of his fathers bad habits.
-
He won 2 of the first 3 today. Owned half of the two winners. Made a quick 5k before running down the road to plainridge. Probably more than most of you haters make in a month.
-
I know he’s great 73cv.2
-

I dont think he's great. I don't think he's a Dexter Dunn. I think he's very good though. He's young and works hard! I'd rather promote him than some drunk or drug addict bumb
-
I dont think there's been anyone better at age 22!
-
I dont think there's been anyone better at age 22!
ever heard of a guy named Tim Tetrick?
-
Tetrick was 26 when he had the # of wins Brett has
-
To expect Beckwith to be another Tetrick is asking alot.
-
Brett has been very good SO FAR!!! Let’s see how he progresses over the next few years. He has unlimited potential. Comes down to horse power a lot of the time. Will big barns be willing to give him big money 2 and 3yos to drive? Time will tell. tmbz1
-
In the beginning most of his drives will be leftovers that other drivers choose off of or big longshots, but if he's that good, in time he'll start getting better drives.
-
To expect Beckwith to be another Tetrick is asking alot.
He's certainly on course...... or ahead of it. Barring injury looks like a HOFer to me.
-
If it was a pro athlete, I might agree with you, but he needs to do it on the big stage over a long period of time which isn't easy to do. There are many very good drivers with tons of wins with great careers not in the Hall of Fame. Seems like you have to win some of the major races to even be considered no matter how many wins or money you've earned.
-
MARK is going grand circuit????
-
It will take time for him to become a factor, most of the better stables are already committed to certain drivers.
-

Does this mean Aaron Merriman doesn’t get into the Hall of Fame too??
-
My prime example is Tony Morgan, around 17,000 wins, 2nd all-time, 140 million in earnings, never even nominated for the Hall of Fame because other than a few big stakes in Chicago hasn't won any big races. Two guys who used to drive in the US before moving to Canada who have won big races but aren't in are Jackie Mo & Luc Ouellette. Merriman has a ton of wins but is not a Hall of Fame caliber driver.
-
He had a win...but he burnt a bunch of money at the ridge today! tmbz1
-
I know most people on here love him, but if they're betting him all the time, they're losing money.
-
I know most people on here love him, but if they're betting him all the time, they're losing money.
If you're betting ANYONE all the time you're losing money!
-
lets check back in 3-5 years
-
That's obvious, but with all the Brett Beckwith TDS on here a lot of people are totally obsessed with his every move. They are working on a vaccine for people who have it
-
Funny...He won a total of ONE race yesterday at Plainridge out of 11
I still say he is overrated. He has talent yes but he is still no where close to being considered a top notch driver. He drives with idiots at Saratoga..and many of his losses there are stiff jobs lol. He can't win them all there but he definitely could with who he's driving against
-
My prime example is Tony Morgan, around 17,000 wins, 2nd all-time, 140 million in earnings, never even nominated for the Hall of Fame because other than a few big stakes in Chicago hasn't won any big races.
Tony did win a Woodrow Wilson at The Meadowlands.
-
Does this mean Aaron Merriman doesn’t get into the Hall of Fame too??
Let him go to AA first
-
Tony did win a Woodrow Wilson at The Meadowlands.
Yes he did in 2006 with Fox Valley Barzgar, trained by Tom Harmer, not familiar with the horse and never would have guessed that in a million years. Whether he belongs in the Hall of Fame or not is open for debate, because most of his wins are on overnight horses. If he was going to nominated it would have happened already.
-
Devaux playing some hard ball with the Kid today. I think he's left him out to dry three or four times today. Devaux went on to win two of them. That's the old Jimmy for ya!
-
Watch Walter Case Jr. make mincemeat out of Brett (flash in the pan) Beckwith today at Plainridge. Get there early for one of the 50 seats they have there to watch the races.
-
Watch Walter Case Jr. make mincemeat out of Brett (flash in the pan) Beckwith today at Plainridge. Get there early for one of the 50 seats they have there to watch the races.
Case can't make mincemeat out of anybody these days.
-
Knowing Case, he will try to fit in and prove to trainers and owners that he can drive at the Ridge with far, far better horses and drivers than he is used to in Maine. It will probably take him at least a couple of weeks to get used to the horses and the track.
-
BB gets himself parked a lot lately at both Stga and Meadowlands. The 10th at Stga yesterday with Schnittkers horse was really bad - no way he should have driven that young horse that way. If Schnittker lets him drive his horses again I will be surprised. He is getting way too cocky especially with non Beckwith trained horses.

Absolutely getting way to cocky and starting to drive like an ass! He's turning into a one dimensional guy. Three races yesterday he drove by mile long holes. He's a good young driver but he isn't good enough to start driving like an ass.
-
When people are telling you how great you are and comparing you to Hall of Famers, you start reading the press clippings and it goes to your head.

This clown is just another corrupt POS. Nice tank job in the 1st at Plainridge. Can't stand this prick and yet you all think he's top notch. You're all wrong

You are allowed to list any other drivers at any other track.

As I stated earlier in this never-ending thread, 5 or 6 of the top drivers from Ohio are all better. Merriman, Ronnie Wrenn Jr, Chris Page, Brett Miller, soon to be David Miller, and Dan Noble. I'd take Trace Tetrick over Beckwith. Not to mention from Canada Macdonald, Roy, Mcnair, Jamison, Borth all better. Dave Palone from Pennsylvania, and pretty much the entire driving colony at Yonkers.. Brennan, Stratton Bartlett ,Kakaley Holland, Yannick, Zeron etc...Is he a decent up and coming driver.. sure but he drives against mostly stiffs and regularly drives his families juiced up horses. Is that a long enough list? I could probably name a few more.

Seven odds on faves today at Plainridge. Two winners, one 2nd Whoopee ;D
ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3. Bitter since you and I reside in the same part of the country, I'm sure you remember when David Miller was an up and comer and getting started at Scioto. You could see the improvements in his driving week to week and then year to year until he was completely dominant, and not driving odds on favorites every start. That was against a fairly decent driving colony at Scioto back then. Beckwith does not remind me of that at all. Like I said he could end up a very good driver, but enough with the hype. It's nauseating
-
In fairness to him, with all the hype, he is being over-bet in many instances.
Was just watching some today to check out Case, who did win one of those races
that Beckwith was fave. Don't play 'ANY' track he drives at but if today is any kind
of example, it seems like there is money to be made betting against him. tmbz1
-
He burned a lot of "Win" money today.
-
I say the kid out East wins at least 4 races this weekend at the swamp . Let’s see how many all the power drivers win . We can reconvene on Sunday

Best post of the day/week/month/year! 100% FACTS!
Beckwith is okay. He's not great. He is far from great actually. There is a reason he mostly drives at Saratoga and Plainridge...less competition and with mommy/daddy doped up horses. He went to Meadowlands before the big boys showed up. He was driving against clowns with no balls. Which is also the case at Saratoga. They let him run the show but he won't get his way now at Meadowlands or at Plainridge. He got smoked today ..several times. And also Monday and Tuesday. He is not what some on here think he is. He just isn't!
-
Best post of the day/week/month/year! 100% FACTS!

He hardly got "smoked" today. He won the open plus 2nd in another open and a bunch of seconds. He made $1700 today ......more than ANY other driver there! Please stop lying! 73cv.2

Just for the record, none of the power drivers are there on Friday.

How about in 8 years when he's 30. I don't know why everyone wants to rush him, he's making plenty of money driving against mostly inferior drivers.

Still need the power to make him look as good as he is at 12 oops I mean 20

Winning against inferior drivers doesn't make you great, just means you're better than they are.

he is driving 25 horses at M1 this weekend--many are favored
very bold prediction you have made there 73cv.2
-
Why do people care so much about how he does? Brett Beckwith mania has gotten to the point where he's totally overbet, and you're better off betting against him.
-
Why is he driving favorites if he’s just average at the greatest track in the world with the greatest drivers ? Why because he’s that talented . Owners and trainers want the best for a sharp horse obviously Brett is one of those .

if you took a look at the drivers he is competing with on friday night instead of running your mouth-you would see the best driver he is facing is Johnathan Ahle
you should really look at what you are saying before you post about

I did look and I looked at Saturdays card as well. Dexter Dunn has all the favorites Saturdays

Who bet the hot William Clark to Dexter Dunn last week ? Jumping on again this week ? I recall BB went right bye . Was that his mothers or fathers horse ? Give the youngster his props . He puts them in position on Friday or Saturday at the swamp . We out here respect his father big time and we understand he raised a fine young man .

That's the way it was Thursday at Plainridge. Odds on seven times but shouldn't have been
on at least a couple of them. All that hype, they can't resist. After all, John Campbell revisited. ;D

You answered your own question doofus. When real drivers are around he gets mainly leftovers. The kids a superstar at Saratoga! tmbz1

BINGO!
Been saying this for a while now. Look at who he wins for most...and by the way where is daddy? Haven't seen him anywhere?? That family is so corrupt. BB isn't the same when he drives for other trainers. Everyone pumped up this kid way too much. The Beckwith family runs Saratoga. Doesn't carry over to other tracks. Also, when drivers/jockeys show up to a track for the first time, they get live horses and a bunch of wins. I see it EVERYWHERE! Then they drop like flies.
Here's an example ...TB racing. Gulfstream. Van Dyke left CA to go ride at GP. Saffie kept giving him doped up horses to ride. Van Dyke sucks. He was just a passenger on the horse. Saffie helped him out because he was broke af . Was a lost cause out in CA. All of a sudden Van dick head couldn't win a race. Saffie tossed him to the curb. Beckwith is just a phase at Meadowlands. He's NOT as good as everyone is making him out to be. He will get less and less drives. He won't have live horses and he will get frustrated and leave. I see it coming.. He thinks he can win everywhere EASY. When his winning phase dies off he will stick with just Saratoga and Plainridge and occasionally some drives at Meadowlands (maybe). If he's not driving his "mom's" horse he struggles. FACT. He's not going to get the best horses.
-

What are you talking about he's the leading driver at Plainridge in wins AND money! Do some research before you spew lies on here!

you should get over your obsession with money earned in April
you want to discuss money earned lets re-visit his money earned in December not mid April

What are you talking about he's the leading driver at Plainridge in wins AND money! Do some research before you spew lies on here!
Plus the overnight purses are higher at Plainridge than the Meadowlands. However, it was enjoyable watching Walter Case Jr. dusting him off at the wire in the 6th Thursday afternoon.
-
you should get over your obsession with money earned in April

That's a bad argument...kid made over 6 million, driving mainly at Saratoga and Plainridge..with a little Buffalo and Meds sprinkled in....thats over $300,000 salary in 2024 and pretty close to that in 2023....I think most the hype is because of the age in which he is accomplishing it at..and part loyalty to him JMO..
-
And as far as driving the old mans horses..good for him I'd love to race some one down the street in my Corvette and them driving a Volkswagen tmbz1...if the kid wasn't driving the old mans horses...they'd be complaining about Hennessey winning with all the juiced up horses..
-
Great grandpa Max was ok
Yeah other than him Bert the rest of them are dummies.

Well it’s Saturday night and time once again to see who wins what . Every single top Swamp driver is listed . We shall see what we see .

Only Tetrick is missing, although he drove in qualifiers this morning.

He was still in high school

Todd McCarthy just out drove him in Meds 5th. Todd came home in 26 and piece he was the better horse.
-
He was still in high school
GOOD! He’s probably the only Beckwith with the high school diploma.
-
Well the kid won 3 tonight anyone win more ? The dogs were out and how the fuck does he pay 10 dollars in the last race with a horse clearly beating the class often . That’s just giving us sharpies out here money . Thank you on Easter Sunday . Clowns

There are still way better options.
LIAR JENNY WRONG AGAIN! ngc3 ngc3

When we see the top 3 trainers in the country plus Nancy Takter use Brett ya know he's great!
-
The big question is whether the top trainers will use him on live horses in stake races where the purses are much larger?
-
So Brett Beckwith win 4 last night , in the swamp....against all the "good" drivers...and I believe only one favorite..and his Mom and Dad didn't have a horse racing. What do all the jealous people on this forum have to say..NOTHING..May be..Oh, he was lucky?...Oh, its only one night...One of the many things you learn in life is HATERS GONNA HATE...He had a good night against the best...give him his props!
-
Not sure people are really jealous of him or not, some people still feel he needs to prove himself in the bigger races. When someone is successful there are always going to be some doubters and haters. I think the issue of how good he is or isn't has been beaten to death, and people need to move on, but some can't because they're so obsessed with him the same way people with TDS are with Trump are and it's sad.
-

Agree, he's made great strides at his early age, but I think he would be the first to tell you he has a lot to learn
-
Correction he won 4 last night . We were all lifting beers when he won the last and paid a crazy 10 and change with a layup horse . The late double he won by open lengths with both horses . No whip needed . Hands 🙌

Brett Beckwith won four times on the program to pad his lead atop The Big M driver standings. The 22-year-old pilot now has 60 wins this year. … Jason Bartlett guided three to victory lane and is second in the standings with 49 victories. …
-
I know you love Brett Beckwith and he's doing well. Yes, he has 60 wins from 339 starts for a win % of 17.7%
Jason Bartlett has 49 wins from 168 starts, which is half the # of starts Beckwith has for a win % of 29.2%
-
Brett will more than likely take the spring/summer driving title at the Meadowlands. I'd this happens will he be the youngest leading driver at the Meadowlands?

I dont think anyone is claiming that today at age 22 Beckwith is better than Bartlett only that he is ON PACE to far surpass him.

I am by no mean diminishing his accomplishments, just feel some people are getting ahead of themselves.

Whats so funny?

I am by no mean diminishing his accomplishments, just feel some people are getting ahead of themselves.
Hard to be ahead of themselves when the record shows he's the best 22 yr old ever......
-
I'm not diminishing what he's done so far, but some people are comparing him to Dexter Dunn and other Hall of Famers which is going way overboard. Give the kid time to grow and see where he is in 5 years. I try not to get caught up in all the hype with him and some pro athletes who come up and make a great impression right off the bat.
-
Not that many drivers are given the opportunities he's had at such a young age. His family being in the business has really helped.
-
I fear all of this hype will go to his head as it does most youngsters that taste success. I hope he is the exception.
-
Scooteroo I agree with you. The kid is a good driver, but time will tell. The horses he drove in the 12 and13 races at the Meadowlands Saturday night were so fired up anyone could have won with them. Today it's the best chemist that win races today.
-
Right now he says and does all the right things, but having that kind of money at his age can get you in with the wrong crowd.
-
Yes, that can happen hope it doesn't. There are a lot of drivers you could ask about that. I won't name but they know who they are. you seem to know a lot about the business.
-
Look at all the pro athletes that made hundreds of millions of dollars and are flat broke now because they spent wildly and didn't save their money or get any financial advice. Money attracts freeloaders and leeches.

-
I am not defending Herschberger, but think he's an okay driver for Freehold and okay at Meadowlands without the big boys, however when he drives at Chester and Pocono with better drivers, you see how overmatched he really is. Btw, if he's a top 10 driver at Meadowlands as Jenny said, how come he was only the 5th leading driver at Freehold with 40 less wins than Tyler Miller with almost the same number of starts?
-
Hershberger is fine and competent on Friday nights at the swamp . Obviously Brett is top dog .

Brett is a good kid..Mark is a good guy as is John.. The rest of that Beckwith crew are dummies

Brett will rock the swamp Friday night . Just saw the entries has some power as does dexter and mc carthy

Dunn does have some power, but Andrew McCarthy only has 1 drive, and Todd is at Yonkers.
