Agree with Peterose, John Horne is horrendous. Worst I’ve ever heard.

It’s bad enough that he mucks up Vernon. But he also fills in at Saratoga, Tioga, and Yonkers. The guest announcer at Meadowlands last night- a full time lawyer and big harness fan- called the 5th last night at The Big Swamp- and did a far superior job.

That guy does the qualifiers at the Meadowlands and called a few full cards at Freehold. There was an article on him on harnessracingupda te.com

Probably gets paid more per diem at Saratoga Raceway than at Tioga/Vernon Downs!
