I have to much time on my hands.
I was looking up the age of one of todays catch drivers.
I was at the Pathway Fines and suspensions section so as to do it for free.
What surprised me was this.
719 rulings against this guy.
That includes things like whipping, late to paddock, no shows, interferrence, inside pylons, talking on the track ETC.
Over $70,000 in fines,
Over 200 days of suspensions.
Was it Case, Merriman, Morgan, Sears, or none of the above.
If none of the above, then who was I looking up?
-
I would vote for Morgan
-
Yanny
-
The drunk from Illinois
-
Id say Merriman. That drive between Nfld and the Meadows has caused thousands over the years for not driving when programmed.
-
I just can't imagine getting 719 phone calls from the judges.
Not to even mention writing checks for over $70,000.
-
I would vote for Morgan
My friend Tony.
A Bad Boy for sure, but not that Bad,
553 rulings and about $40,000 in fines.
-
It can't be Case, as he is way over 200 days of suspensions. I would say Merriman.
-
Yanny
Ah Yannick, He is just a Goody Two Shoes
452 rulings and only about $50,000 in fines
-
Id say Merriman. That drive between Nfld and the Meadows has caused thousands over the years for not driving when programmed.
He would have been my guess also, but no he has had only 671 rulings and about $60,000 in fines.

Case now there is a bad boy.
776 rulings and about $90,000 in fines.
-
So the 719 rulings and $70,000 catch driver is still in the wind.
I am guessing no one can guess it with out looking it up.
A give away hint!
One of his rulings involved a $1,000,000 race.

Dave Miller?
-
Sears?
-
Brett Miller
-
Sears?
Nay not Sears
He never hit enough pylons or cut and slashed enough.
288 rulings and about $20,000 in fines.
-
Brett Miller
Another Bad Boy.
Has paid enough in fines for a new pick-up.
About $75,000
742 rulings
-
Dave Miller?
You are correct Sir.
I didn't realize these catch drivers have paid tens of thousands in fines.
