there is a new track coming to Kentucky

it's only a 10 day meet, appears to be a place to go for stakes horses not good enough to race in the Crown

Kentucky is surely doing things right. And WITHOUT Casino slots money. All other states should follow them.

They will probably get some of the Casino $$ from Churchill Downs, when the casino opens there and right now billions are put in the historical racing machines in the state, with more slated to be installed at Corbin and other venues.  I don't know the exact split, but below is a link to an article about all of this:

Kentucky has casino's and they just started sports betting. But not sure if they get money from sports betting.

Red Mile - casino
Louisville downs - casino
Kentucky Downs - casino
Ellis  Park - think they have a casino.

There is soon to be a ready-made opportunity for a new venue, but it's in Arizona! Turf Paradise in in the process of closing for good! Long commute but at least you won't have to pack the cold weather gear! ngc3 ngc3
