Phoenix was way ahead of it's time, beautiful futuristic grandstand, nothing like it, nice barns and track. Shame it didn't survive. Great back drop for movies.

So they might try again 60 years later when harness racing is on its “death bed”?  The cal expo people are awaiting for this to occur with open arms! Will the track hard a card room and a full blown casino too?  What will the purse money be for the horsemen?  And which people setting this up will gain the most from ‘grift’, etc.?  Inquiring want to know!!
