VERY PRETENTIOUS PERSON THAT I MET, AND HIS WRITING WASN'T MUCH DIFFERENT. HORSEMANSHIP WAS AKIN TO ANY STABLE WITH GOOD STOCK AND DECENT HELP. Having said that, R.I.P. Ronnie. Condolences to the family. It was a nice ride, and some sweet trotters you had.
The man trained great horses, ate at the best restaurants and drank the finest wine. Not a bad way to live your life. RIP Gurf
So what? Some of the biggest scumbags that ever existed-lived lives of unbelievable opulence-doesnt make you a great person or a man of the utmost integrity. Its what you do with your life-leaving the world a better place than when you came into it-and what you did for ALL your fellow humans-BOTH rich and poor---thats what counts IMHO.
