Sunday big card at Red Mile -- or is it ?
« on: October 03, 2019, 06:38:36 PM »
Sunday big card has 8 races

2 overnights

a 5 horse field
a 6 horse field
and two 7 horse fields.

Heading to Lexington Sunday -- weather finally cooling off in the Midwest, just going to Keenland instead. Actually quite disappointed in saying that. Going with a group and was trying to talk them into Red Mile. Not going to press it now.

??? why would ANYONE rather go to red mile than keeneland? Maybe 1 in a million but that may be low.

I gotta agree on this one...Keenland is a boutique meet, complete with the hats, and lovely ladies. Many top stables there yearly. tmbz1
great handles and full fields...just down the road a few miles too.

I would rather watch $2,000 claimers at The Red Mile than watch ANY thoroughbred race.

Keeneland on Sunday..... a huge party with thousands of diverse age people having fun and enjoying horse racing.

Red Mile on Sunday.....the morgue.

Sunday big card has 8 races

2 overnights

a 5 horse field
a 6 horse field
and two 7 horse fields.

Last year there were two 6 horse and two 7 horse fields

This year there are also two 11 horse and one 12 horse fields.

This year, there are no elims for the 3FT and 3CT races.  That accounts for 4 fewer.
