Tom Carey Hawthorne owner passes away

87 when he passed. Was behind all those great winter meets and doubleheaders. He treated both breeds and their horsemen better than the Johnstons and old man Duchy. RIP
well, it's game over here at Maywood. thanks johnny Johnston for giving us fans the shaft!
