Pocono ran 14 races with over $2 million in total purses, handled less than $1 million.
Big M ran 14 races with $175k in total purses, handled over $2.6 milion.
Jeff should cut the stakes program, the $$$ just keeps coming..     tmbz1 tmbz1

Mile track gives every bettor a winning chance. 1/2 mile tracks owners are killed off when they draw the 7 and 8 holes.... Mile track you bet drivers with heads on and you have to picture how the race will set up.

The breeding industry in NJ is taking off with the resurgent purse structure for the sires stakes.  That business matters as well.

With who on the pacing side?
