Off Tracks
« on: September 10, 2018, 12:34:48 PM »
What's more impt as a  performance indicator on an off track:
1. Current form,
2. Breeding,
3. Past performance on off tracks
4. Track bias.
In the past I've relied on 3, and it doesn't always seem to be a good indicator. These days I just throw out those that are ofor many and look closer at any that are top three frequently.

See how the track is playing. Some nights the rail is heavy, some nights nobody can pass, sometimes it's a speed way. Make proper adjustments.

Sorry to break hearts..
For the most part..meaningless in harness racing.

When its 'my turn' its 'my turn' regardless of track...its only there to mess with your mind.

Although yes, technically, a heavy rail youd think would hurt......about the only track condtion that can upset a harness race is heavying falling snow that can make third and fourth lane passing near impossible

Been years since track was slow.   Water turns to concrete speedway.

Just play names and numbers on an off track and the ROI will be higher than handicapping
