Never bragged or tried to get publicity, (harness racing is fun). It's hard work always has been. I'm lucky, no I worked my ass off. Not from the Meadows, just raced there, always been a tough place, lot of politics.

I suspect that this is an actual case of contamination. They test for such small amounts that the sweat from an addict on the horse can cause a positive.

Fair question. Drug addict could be on Methadone program and ok to work while on Methadone. It is possible that trainer did not know that addict was on Methadone program until positive came up. The testing is so sensitive that sweat from an addicts arm getting on the horses skin can cause a positive.
